"Renovated historic building with a lovely terrace. Decent room with spartan furnishings featuring different styles, definitely in need of a reconciliation. But it's clean, which is what matters to us. Bottled water and a coffee maker are provided for guests. The bathroom has been renovated, but the bidet and toilet are too close together. The breakfast was good, with cakes, croissants, and more. Gluten-free options are also available. The owner is very kind and always available, and gave us lots of advice. It's clear he loves his job and puts his heart into it. A good location within the city walls, with free parking at the nearby seminary, a 10-minute walk away."

"Centrally located hotel in the heart of Pienza. Everything was perfect: modern and clean rooms, free on-site parking available for guests. The pool was a welcome addition during these hot days. The breakfast was amazing, both sweet and savory, with excellent homemade products (not least the yogurt from the famous Cugusi dairy!). The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to make us feel at home. We'll definitely be back!"

"We stayed for 2 nights along our 10-day road trip through Italy! The property has a pretty cypress-lined driveway, located in the ideal Tuscan countryside, and provides a great vantage point for sunset. The property has a pool and lounging area and pergola with seating and tables and gardens. Our room ‘Mezza Corte’ was just off of the central courtyard and nice & spacious with quiet AC. Our room had a wardrobe and kettle with tea / coffee and several chairs for seating. We liked the natural light from the two windows in bedroom. The only challenge was having only a single tiny garbage can in bathroom; would be nice to have another one near desk. Also, there were so many swifts nesting in courtyard and it was pretty loud when it’s feeding time and they fly all around while guests are trying to eat breakfast. Overall, it was a comfortable and great stay!"

"- Because the buildings here are all old and historic, the rooms are simply decorated (but very clean!) You can experience the local feeling of southern Italy~ - The courtyard is super large! Looking out during the day is a green expanse, and watching the sunset at night is also beautiful! - The boss and employees are very nice, English communication is completely OK, and the boss also has three very docile and cute dogs - ❣️The key point! ! The food is very delicious! ! ! I highly recommend everyone to experience it. The dinner we went to was homemade pasta, beef cheeks, and a goat milk ice cream dessert. From the presentation to the taste of the food, it is not inferior to the Michelin restaurant I ate in the past few days. At dinner, guests from various countries would sit at a long table and eat and chat, which was a very interesting experience~"

"It was the best location to watch the Tuscan sunset, but because the host was busy as a farmer, check-in was after 5 PM, and although I booked a garden view room, all I could see was the roof of the building in front and a farm shed. There was no air conditioning, so I slept with all the windows open, and it was very hot, feeling like I was camping. For breakfast, I had to prepare the bread, drinks, and fruit myself, even though they had already provided them. If watching the sunset is your goal, a one-night stay might be okay, but for a two-day stay like mine, it didn't provide the relaxing experience I had hoped for."

"Our stay during a January weekend was blissful despite the blustery and rainy weather. Ana was such a great host. Besides preparing fantastic breakfasts each morning, she had great tips about where to get lunch or how to organize our day. Pienza is 5 minutes away, but we also visited San Quirico d'Orcia (impressive), Montalcino (didn't like as much, maybe the weather?) but loved Montepulciano. These are all very nearby. The room we stayed in was extremely clean and well organized. Of the choices, ours was the room with the large bathroom that included the bath. The way the rooms are organized on the first floor, outside the bedroom is a joint sitting room which we found to be a great idea. We did not use the fireplace (I'm sure Ana would have helped with this) but a drizzly evening would be the perfect time. We will surely come back when the weather was warmer."

The rooftop offers stunning views; having dinner and drinks while watching the sunset would be very pleasant. The room has a kettle and a coffee machine. "Our private Tuscany townhouse! Note: We traveled the week leading into Christmas and the entire town and the neighboring areas were all very quiet. There were a few restaurants and shops open but the town itself was very empty, with no tourists (which was great for us). My husband discovered La Bandita in CN Traveler and we were so excited to check it out. It was the perfect destination for our holiday getaway. Paola and Alessio were very helpful with helping coordinate the trip. They helped with restaurant reservations and gave great recommendations of things to do. Ask them about the thermal baths/pools at Albergo Posat Marcucci - they'll help arrange and provide a voucher. We were upgraded to a bigger room (because we were the only ones there) which was really comfortable. The bathroom was large with the tub, a shower, and a heated drying rack. Great water pressure from the shower. The one downside was there was this musty smell throughout the room - I think it's because of the lack of air circulation throughout. There's a restaurant onsite that had amazing reviews but it was closed for the holiday. We'll have to go back. There is also a beautifully designed "living room" where they have a record player and records, games, books, and a bar - they offer free prosecco apertivo and then everything else on an honor system. We didn't get the full Bandita experience but will definitely be back. "

"This B&B is the highlight of this European trip! We set off from Florence at four in the afternoon and booked this B&B on the highway before dark. We rushed to the farm and the boss left us a message in advance to call him when we arrived. He was nearby. When we met, the boss said that he had spent some time in Shenzhen, and the intimacy instantly increased. The two-bedroom suite we booked has two floors. All the olive oil used in the toiletries in the room is produced on the farm. When we left, we brought 9 bottles of shower gel and body lotion. Breakfast will be selected the night before, delivered to the room the next morning, and removed after the meal is completed. We didn't want to cause trouble to anyone, so we went downstairs to the restaurant for breakfast for the next two days. The boss understood our demands and specially arranged for us to dig truffles the next day, with professional hunters, hunting dogs, and shotguns. The hunter only speaks Italian, and the owner of the B&B is proficient in English, French, and Spanish. He translated for us and accompanied us on the trip. In just two hours, we learned a lot. I believe many people will yearn for this experience and it is worth recommending! The temperature in Tuscany in February is more than ten degrees Celsius, and the sunny slopes are full of greenery. Our three-day stay here completed our 21-day vacation! Will still stay here next time! 😄😄"

"⭐ 0/10 – Beautiful marketing, bitter reality If you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience, stay far away. The owners are not Italian, the staff is not Italian, the kitchen is not Italian, and the atmosphere has nothing to do with real Tuscany. Everything feels like a staged tourist set—a polished, “Instagram-ready” version of Italy with zero soul or authenticity. They sell the idea of a traditional agriturismo, but the reality is artificial. The garden and exterior are glorified in photos, but in reality, it feels forced and fake. Lots of marketing, very little substance. Prices are high for what you actually get. On top of that, hidden costs and extra charges appear at the end. You don’t feel like a guest—you feel like a wallet. Extremely poor value for money. I would never return, not even for free."
