"Wonderful guests house with so much attention to detail. Hermanus and Kevin are fantastic hosts. They made an appointment at the hair salon for me, took me there and came to fetch me again. I really appreciated this service. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms decorated with great taste. There is an honesty bar where I helped myself to drinks and I wrote it in the honesty book. The shower in the morning was phenomenal with so much pressure. The gardens and the pool area are well looked after. Pinelands are very central and close to the airport. I would highly recommend staying at Brookedale House. "

"We were here with 2 couples (family), relaxing stay.. Garden Retreat is a very nice stay, separate rooms in a beautiful garden with swimming pool. You wouldn't say you stay in a city. Personal approach of the owners, tips, a delicious personal breakfast, very nice. We enjoyed our 5 days. "

"Worst accommodation ever, the rooms are not as advertised. The beds looks like school hostel beds with small rooms. The place is not good for vacation, the showers looks like prison showers. The I would never and never recommend this place to anyone. I no matter how cheap it can be. Storage for clothes is the worst"
