"Great environment and fresh air! The room accommodated our family of four, plus it had a living room, which was excellent value for money! The fresh air outside our window was so inviting, we almost didn't want to close it! But we had to, to avoid bugs coming in while we rested. It's a shame it rained, so we couldn't go for a walk in the nearby forest. We'll definitely come again!"

"Second visit to The Inn on The Tay, and still love it. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, the river makes a lovely view, and noise. The food is above average for Scotland, I had a lovely smoked trout starter, breakfast is good too. Service and welcome is always friendly."

"Great vegan Hotel in an old building, but modernly refurbished, with a sense for details. We had a great stay here, a fantastic vegan 5 course dinner and a yummy 2 course breakfast. The rooms are cosy, although you can hear quite a bit through the wall/door. The water pressure is on the lower end for showering. But when you keep in your mind it is an old building, this is not surprising and it did not really bother us. Friendly and attentive staff."

"The location is in a lovely setting right beside the loch. The Lodge we are staying in is huge and has impressive views over the loch. The Lodge is clean and modern with great bathrooms. Each bedroom has a view out to the loch. We will definitely be back!"

Port Na Craig Inn

"A lovely stay with an upgrade to a cottage, all quickly and efficiently arranged. This was a trip in honour of an annual expedition for my late wife Caroline and I to the Pitlochry area for autumn. Caroline always wanted to stay in the lovely cottages so it was fate and her sparkle that helped with the upgrade. Food is incredible and a wide selection of choices along with fantastic, friendly service and drinks. Very good to eat and sit by the river in warmer times. Terrific breakfast too. The cottage was spacious and kept warm. Very comfy. They are not new so you must allow for some quirky spaces and layouts. It was lovely to have that space to relax. Port Na Craig is a 10/15m walk from the town over the suspension bridge or the dam. It's a beautiful walk but be careful near water. Pitlochry is a beautiful town that Caroline and I have enjoyed for years and I'll continue to honour her by visiting. Thanks to the Port Na Craig team for making me so welcome and for the prosecco for toasting Caroline. Much appreciated."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was comfortable, and the bed was very comfy, giving us a great night's sleep. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of vegetarian options. The coffee was made with real milk, which was a lovely touch, and it was some of the best coffee we had during our entire holiday."
