"We chose this hotel as it was walking distance to the concert we were attending & the only hotel in the area. We paid additional for parking & paid in advance for breakfast too. For one night, including parking and breakfast, it was nearly $500. We expected for that amount of money, especially at a new hotel, that we would get what we paid for. While the hotel was new/ clean, we left in the morning very disappointed (& very tired as we were not able to sleep that night). I must say- I am a very optimistic person and NEVER LEAVE BAD REVIEWS, but in this case, for the money we paid, I had to. Upon arrival, we were texted a welcome message and told to text with issues. As we were going to bed we heard this series of beeps coming from the hallway (probably a bad battery in a smoke alarm). We messaged the number we were given & told them about the beeping as it was keeping us up. The messages back and said they listened for it & couldn’t hear it. I messaged them numerous times through the night as it went off constantly and kept us awake- no body responded after the initial complaint. When I told them about it at check out the response from the Manager was “I’m sorry that’s annoying”. Then we went to the breakfast that we had paid in advance for, $18 a person. It was cold (except the juice that we wanted cold which was warm as it had been sitting out on the counter), the waitress was talking to people instead of keeping things stocked, we weren’t even offered water until we were almost done, and the coffee pot was empty with no more coffee cups. I wanted to ask for more coffee/a cup before we left, but all the staff were in a meeting. The staff should be focused on keeping food/coffee stocked & we should have to ask, but even if I wanted to, no one was available to ask. $500 for mediocre food and a clean room that we couldn’t sleep in because of the beeps and we get an “I’m sorry that’s annoying.” Prices do not match the level of customer care and service. Disappointed."
