"We had mixed feelings about our holiday here. On the positive side: - a wonderful, excellent organic restaurant; the breakfast selection was delicious, and the pizza night, where we shared a table with two other German-speaking couples and enjoyed pizza and wine, was fantastic – the best pizza ever! - beautiful scenery and stunning views - a guided tour of the farm, which gave us a glimpse into the work of a Demeter farm - a comfortable bed and mosquito nets on the windows; we had no mosquitoes in the room - lots of nature, but this also meant there were many flies, mosquitoes, and other biting insects (definitely bring insect repellent!) - an organic farm shop that had almost everything we needed, and even though they didn't understand us, they helped us with gestures so we could even get raw milk cheese (I was pregnant at the time) - some very nice families who were also on holiday with us. On the negative side: - we mostly cooked for ourselves. The kitchen wasn't well-suited for this; we were missing some cooking utensils. There was no welcome basket as mentioned in some reviews. - We had a lot of ants in the room; spraying our DEET insect repellent on the doorstep and sweeping every two days helped. We reported this to reception, but they only took a quick look. - The room wasn't cleaned once a week as advertised. When we asked after a week, we received fresh bed linen to make up the room ourselves. We then mopped the floor ourselves. - It's normal in Italy, but the drinking water contains chlorine, and the natural pond is also slightly chlorinated for this reason. :-( We booked this accommodation mainly because of the natural pool. Also normal in Italy due to climate change: we had a week with temperatures over 40 degrees Celsius."
