"We went to hotel because we were still in the dark with no power at home from storm that hit us 10 days ago. Hotel looks nice. Once in the room, there are floor tiles cracked(broken movable pieces), chairs are visibly worn out, carpet is worn out and some edges are torn and sticking up. No TV service maybe due to storm as well."

"Highlights include clean, sizable rooms with full kitchens. Even the fridge is full sized! You're also within walking distance of several restaurants, albeit mediocre eateries. The staff closes the office at 3:00 p.m. on most days, but they were very proactive in texting me the passcode to open my hotel room before I arrived at 5:00 p.m., so they've got you covered. It's also close to the beach at Indiana Dunes National Park. One of the downsides is that without a front desk staff present overnight, there is no assistance in discouraging unruly behavior. So I had to listen to a very loud and profane group of drunk bikers sitting in the courtyard outside my room as they partied from 7:00 p.m. to about 5:00 a.m. before finally retreating to their rooms. Let's just say I got very little sleep. That was sufficient in reducing my rating to three stars. But honestly, the rooms are pretty spectacular for the price."
