Prestige Oceanview Hotel Prince Rupert
8.2 (104 reviews)

Prestige Oceanview Hotel Prince Rupert ★★★

📍 118 6 St, Prince Rupert

"The hotel's location is extremely convenient, just a short walk from major attractions. However, there is one significant drawback - the lack of readily available drinking water. Guests are required to retrieve water placed on the lobby floor, which can be inconvenient, especially if you need water frequently. The lack of individual water bottles or carafes in the rooms is a noteworthy oversight. While the hotel's amenities and service are otherwise satisfactory, this water accessibility issue is a frustrating inconvenience that detracts from an otherwise positive guest experience. Providing in-room water options would greatly improve the overall stay."

Crest Hotel

Crest Hotel ★★★★

📍 222 1st Avenue West, Prince Rupert

"Great hotel in Prince Rupert. Comfortable, good food and quality service. If you’re flying in from Vancouver and need a bed for the night or longer this is a good place to stay. The room was comfortable and we had a great view over the harbour and the mountains beyond. The dinner and breakfast were excellent and not ridiculously large s can be the case elsewhere in North America. The staff were friendly and informative."

The Pacific Inn
7.0 (97 reviews)

The Pacific Inn ★★

📍 909 3 Ave W, Prince Rupert

"First of all there was a very small parking space, we could not able to park on-site. This is one of the worst place to stay, our room curtains were very dirty ,lamp sheds are full of dust, breakfast was just a minimal. I don't know about other rooms. Staff are nicer and accommodating."

Eagle Bluff Bed & Breakfast
9.0 (19 reviews)

Eagle Bluff Bed & Breakfast ★★

📍 201 Cow Bay Rd, Prince Rupert

" This was my second time staying at the Eagle Bluff bnb this year. The new manager Susmitha is absolutely horrible to deal with. I have been going to this bnb through two different owners and 3 different managers and this is the first time I have written a bad review about the place. The first trip in July, we stayed for 9 nights. My group rented 3 rooms and at no time was our rooms cleaned, towels changed, bedding changed or garbage emptied. We didn't complain as the manager said she had only been there for 4 months. All was fine until we had to check out. Susmitha was told the night before that we would need two separate receipts and she stated it was not going to be a problem. On the morning of our departure there was a new girl that did not understand the computer system. She woke up Susmitha who came out of her room like a bear. She was agitated and called me difficult. I was taken a back by this comment. I contacted the owner, Debbie, and received a disheartened response. We returned in August and had a very unpleasant stay. We ended our 9 nights booking early after 3 nights as Susmitha was going out of her way to get under my skin. It's unfortunate that the owners who are selling, have put their trust in such a despicable person. This used to be my favorite place to stay, but after this experience I will only return after they get rid of this manager. "

"We stay at The Crest a few times per year, and most times I am able o give a 4-5 star review. The property changed hands a while back, and mostly this has ensured the standard was maintained. This stay, maybe not so much. There is supposed to be a note on my file we always get the second floor and twice in a row we we downgraded to first floor. This particular room had received a verynice updated paint job. However, it has extra-high beds so at 5 '1" I really had to struggle to get up on the mattress. There used to be 4 queen size pillows and now there are 2 king size which is nto nearly as cozy. The toiletries are now affixed in identical dispensers that withoutglasses on I cannot read. Plus I can't take a travel size with me for other trips, and the fragrance is not nearly as luxe. To make matters worse, the sliding mirrordoors on the wardrbber were premanently off their tracks making access to iron/board/robes/hangers next to imoossible. Because we only stayedone night this time, I decided to just live with it. But when I rebook fr ur August stayover on route to Haua Gwaii, I will give a clear list of needs, and see what happens. As for Charley's Lounge, the vibe is as always fabulous. The menu could jse arefresher thugh, and there doesn't seem to be any specials ro much effort to create new GF options."

The Pacific Inn ★★
"Mistakenly thought this was Pacific Crest hotel. Very standard 50/60s looking hotel. No A/C. Loud neighbors (with crying child for hours). View of back parking zone and bright security light. Breakfast was basic. Good commercial muffins. Nothing really wrong but not a place to seek out."

"Our party of 4 adults stayed two nights at the Eagle Bluff BnB and really enjoyed it. We were in the Harbourview and Boatview rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The en-suite bathrooms had tub/shower combination, with single pedestal sink. We were on the harbor and could see the fishing boats go out in the morning but no significant noise issues. The manager Susmitha was a pleasure- friendly and helpful. She prepared the breakfast - yogurt and fruit, toast, eggs bacon coffee and tea and juice, which was very good. We were leaving very early on the morning of check out and she had a bagged cold breakfast waiting for us in the refrigerator to have on our way. There is a guest kitchen between the two 1st floor rooms, so we had our morning pre-breakfast coffee and had use of the fridge/freezer for any food we bought ( Safeway was a short walk away). A number of restaurants are nearby. We would definitely stay there again were our travels to bring us back to Prince Rupert."
