The only problem is that the air-conditioning and other facilities are a bit simple. There are public bathrooms for washing; the hotel is very close to Brown University, making it convenient for traveling."

"The hotel is in a super great location, just a 5-minute walk from Providence train station. The hotel receptionist was very nice to help our check-in process very fast. The washing machine and dryer facilities are located on the 7th floor. 30mins use cost $2 (need to change quarter coins at reception. Detergent is also available at reception costing $2). The room is large and cozzy, comfortable and extremely big king size bed. The sofa bed is not that comfortable but the blanket is very comfortable. Japanese supermarket Maruichi is just a 7-minute walk distance, where sells frozen, fresh food, grocery, and ready to eat sushi and rice. The hotel staff suggested to go to Trader Joe's, which is 1 mile away, to have more fruits and vegetable choices. The 7-Eleven runs 24hrs just right at the corner, so shopping is very convenient. The breakfast has a wide range of variety: cereal, bagel, toast, pancake, juice, coffee, fruit, yogurt, sausage, fried or boiled eggs. It only takes 10 minutes to walk from hotel to Brown University and RISD. There are many steep slopes along the way, but the view of the city from the commanding heights is very beautiful. I highly recommend staying at Homewood Suite"

"This “boutique” hotel was NOT inexpensive. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the building itself lacked everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room was so dark it was impossible to read. There was no room for two people to place toiletries in the bathroom. There was no closet or dresser, so if one is staying for more than one night it would be difficult to store clothing. There were exactly two hooks on the wall and four hangers! Worst of all….. the mattress was so uncomfortably soft that my husband slept sitting up on a hard chair. Perhaps some would find this hotel charming, ……not us."

"The location is excellent, the room is spacious enough, and the view is great. The staff were super nice initially, but the person at checkout was really rude. When we checked in, we received a $20 voucher, which we were told we could use for ordering food. We called room service, and they said we just needed to mention the $20 voucher when ordering. So, we ordered breakfast delivery, and both when we placed the order and when it was delivered, we informed them we wanted to use the $20 voucher. The restaurant staff said it was fine and just to give it to the delivery person, which we did. However, when I checked out, the front desk said there was no record of my $20 voucher and asked for the voucher number or a photo! I was speechless! Everyone, please be careful about this trap next time you stay here! If they hadn't given me the voucher, I wouldn't have ordered room service at all. They also never told me I needed to remember the voucher number myself and tell the front desk! You, the front desk, gave me the voucher! So frustrating! Also, the room service food came in paper boxes. What's the difference between that and ordering Uber Eats? The experience was really disappointing."
