"We were on a long distance motorcycle trip looking for small local places to stay with a restaurant bar close. Came across this place and with a phone call booked a room. The room was large and comfortable with a king size bed. Jay, the owner was so accommodating! His bar had good food, good company and my husband got a T-shirt! "

"We had a great stay at the Buzzards Nest and found it to be exactly as advertised. The rooms were as clean or cleaner than all of the other places we stayed in our 27 night cross country trip, and that included stays at Marriott, Hilton and other chains. Despite being near the main road in town, it was quite. While the exterior is older, and could be updated some, the rooms themselves were very nice, updated and well equipped inside. Ours had a new refrigerator and microwave. The owner, Jay, was very responsive. He reached out to us and advised us to call him as we got close. He picked up immediately when we called and had one of his staff members meet us to get us settled in. We saw Jay later in the evening and had a very nice conversation. Enjoyed hanging out in the Buzzard's Roost later that night due to very reasonable prices, good basic food offerings and nice staff members."
