"We loved our stay here. The setting is truly out of this world; its so beautiful. We had misty days, but in some ways that was so perfect. We found the service at reception and at meals to be exceptional. The food was delicious at both breakfast and dinner. The rooms were spacious; the shower was great. The infinity pool was clean and refreshing after a full day of cycling through local villages to get to the waterfall. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights here, and would highly recommend this accommodation to others."

"we stayed at hanasa pu luong during our honeymoon and had an incredible time. we had an excellent tour guide for a couple of treks and cultural half days arranged by the staff at hanasa and they were phenomenal. we also took some walks through the village and rice paddies on our own without having to call a car or motorbike. staff were friendly and helpful. could not more highly recommend staying here."

"We booked and paid for the Executive Room with a view of the mountains and rice terraces – the only reason to ride 4 hours from Hanoi to get here. On arrival, staff quietly walked us to a cheaper standard room. When we asked where our actual room was, we were told it was occupied. Someone else was staying in the room we had a confirmed booking for!!! The alternative was a house in the jungle with no view. We asked for their most expensive house instead – same thing, trees on every side, not a single mountain or rice field. It was late, we'd been on a bike for 4 hours, and the nearest decent option is 30+ minutes away on mountain roads — so we had no real choice but to accept. Terrible experience and waste of money"

"We stayed here for 4 days and rented a scooter each day to tour the area. Staff was very helpful with directions and suggestions. Breakfast was included and was very good with fruit, eggs, pho, rice and noodles as well as coffee and juice. We very much enjoyed our stay and we’re sad to leave. Pu Luông is still some what undiscovered the people here are very nice and no one is at u about buying stuff or tour guides although both are available. We would stay here again."

The biggest plus was the pool facility – the water was clean, and the environment was well-maintained, perfect for relaxing whether it's day or night. "The location of this hotel is perfect, with a beautiful view of the vegetation and rice fields. The service is very good, and Hang (if I'm not mistaken) was wonderful at the reception. Nice pool... Unfortunately, I have a few design issues: I stayed in the dormitory. It's located right above the restaurant, so it's very noisy from 7:00 a.m. until around 11:00 p.m. The bathroom sinks overlook the terrace, so any guest who looks up can see us brushing our teeth. Not to mention that the guest toilets are the same as the dormitory's, with a shower right next to it. Although I'm a simple person, I found it a bit annoying. Finally, there was noisy construction going on, which further spoiled the atmosphere. So it's an ideal place as a hiking starting point, but not for enjoying a peaceful atmosphere, because it's not peaceful!"
