We saw great reviews online, so four of us booked two rooms, 507 and 509, planning to get a good night's sleep before hiking Tianzhu Mountain the next day. The entire room was controlled by smart home devices. When we went to bed, the light above the bed wouldn't turn off. You know, it just *wouldn't* turn off. It was a bright beam of white light. We called the front desk, and they told us that light couldn't be turned off unless we removed the room key card. Since it was so late, we didn't ask our friends if the light in their room also couldn't be turned off. We assumed this was how it was in the whole hotel, so we just slept like that for the night, and I didn't sleep well at all. The next day, when talking to our friends, we found out they were able to turn off all the lights in their room. As a result, we didn't enjoy our hike up Tianzhu Mountain the next day. It was a very bad experience."

It was 25 yuan for a big portion of beef fried rice and I was satisfied from the meal. The couple loves to have a little chitchat with you if you are up for it! Lady boss offered side dishes such as their homemade fermented tofu for me to try while her husband offered me 白酒(49% alc. wine) if you are open to trying. Generous and warm couple. Just let the lady boss know what you feel like having for breakfast and she will prepare it for you. The wontons were good, and she very accommodatingly added an egg and some extra leafy vegetable upon my requesy. Room was comfortable and clean, will recommend to stay here!"
