"The facilities are new and the breakfast is great. The service is also very warm and friendly. However, it's a shame that both the shower and the sink were clogged. Although the staff were very enthusiastic in trying to fix it, the drainage was still incredibly slow. I had to keep stopping and starting while showering. There was also a noticeable smell from the room's renovation. At our next stop, we stayed at the Jianguo Puxin, which had also just opened two months prior, and there was virtually no smell in the rooms. This shows that brand hotels have much stricter engineering acceptance standards. Overall, it's still the best hotel in Qilian County."

"The room was great. We were upgraded to a view room for free. We could see Niuxin Mountain and were very close to Zhuoer Mountain. The room was very comfortable. It was very large and had oxygen supply, which relieved our fatigue after driving 350 kilometers from Chaka. There is a snack street in Qilian County around, so takeout is also very convenient. It was also very nice to send yogurt. Someone also helped us with our luggage. Thank you very much. I hope the hotel will get better and better."

Tianyu Jingdu Resort ★★★

"We made a great choice by choosing this hotel. Located on the back slopes of Zhuoer Mountain, it offers ample parking, making it convenient for self-drive travelers. The rooms were clean and tidy. We stayed for four nights and five days, and loved the earthenware hot pot and lamb chops prepared by the chef. The owner even gave us a taste of their own large sweet apricots, which were incredibly sweet. We loved the quietness of the hotel. During the day, we could watch eagles soar and marmots burrow in the woods across the mountain. At night, we could see the Milky Way and low-orbit satellites. I highly recommend spending more time in the forest across from the hotel; you'll find many surprises."

"The hotel's location is okay, but the hot water suddenly stopped working that day, and the elevator was also faulty. I hope these issues can be improved."

Qilian Country Guest House (Zhuoer Mountain Resort) ★★

"The hotel is near Zhuoer Mountain, opposite the Zhuoer Mountain Visitor Service Center to buy tickets, and enter the attractions. It is very convenient here. There are also some facilities for eating and other horse riding. The boss is also very good."

Qilian Louwailou Holiday Hotel ★★★

"Overall, this hotel in Qilian Town is quite good. The owner is very welcoming and responsible. The breakfast is filling, though you only get one egg. This was the first hotel we stayed at on our Qinghai-Gansu loop, and unfortunately, when we checked out, I definitely left behind two tubes of facial cleanser (one for men, one for women), a nearly empty tube of toothpaste, and toothbrushes that had only been used a few times, all in the bathroom. This caused some inconvenience for the rest of our trip. I later heard the owner tried hard to find them but couldn't. That's just how it is, and I'm writing this honestly.
