"We have stayed at Best Western Discovery Inn twice now within a months time and we have been extremely pleased with our stays. I particularly love the convenience of the 'old' motel style where you have your own individual entry door. This convenience far outweighs dragging your luggage through the lobby and down the endless hallway. The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and varied. But the breakfast area was spotless, so well taken care of by the staff. I'm sorry that I didn't get the woman's name that seemed in charge because she obviously took pride in presenting a clean and well stocked amenity for her customers! Lastly, the price was so fair and reasonable. We will remember this hotel for future trips. Thank you for a very pleasant experience!"

Americana Motel Tucumcari Route 66 ★★

"Roaches! Sagging beds! Filthy floors! Outdated rooms and bathrooms! Way overpriced for what you get. I only stayed here because everyone else was either full, or over-priced. The floors were sticky with pet urine. I couldn't sleep on either mattress, they both sag horribly in the middle, need replacing. I left after 3 hours, made for a very long, tiring day. In my opinion, this place needs to be shut down. Also, the wiring in the rooms is NOT up to code."
