"Our 4-day stay at Vaikunth, Raipur turned out to be a major disappointment due to appalling hygiene standards and careless management. On the second night, during what was supposed to be a special candlelight dinner arranged by the hotel, we were horrified to find a cockroach in the dish. When we raised the issue, the staff casually dismissed it, saying “it must have flown in” — as if that somehow made it acceptable. This kind of excuse is not only unprofessional but also shows a shocking lack of accountability. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, but things only got worse. On the fourth night, during dinner, we found a fly in the noodles. This was the last straw. Two separate incidents involving insects in or around our food is absolutely unacceptable for any hospitality establishment, let alone one that presents itself as upscale. The negligence and poor hygiene practices at this property are deeply concerning. There is clearly no proper food safety protocol in place. We expected a peaceful and comfortable stay — instead, we were left disgusted and disappointed. I strongly urge future guests to think twice before booking here. Management seriously needs to get its act together before calling itself a “premium” destination."

"Terrible hotel, reception staff not friendly, problems with internet, very slow and sometimes dropped out. The room was very dirty, the sheets had not been changed, so you just slipped into the sheets that someone else had slept in. Very dirty. The pillows were very dirty and smelled of sweat. Mold in the bathroom and no toilet paper. Breakfast not ready at 7.30 am, dishes were not fresh and tasted bad. I travel a lot for work but this was the worst experience ever. Windows not cleaned in years. Really scandalous."

The hotel is located on service road next to the main road flyover and is just 5 minutes away from the main city centre... The rooms are spacious and have all the basic amenities needed. The buffet breakfast option is limited. They can add some more options to the menu The food tastes nice and the quality is decent. The restaurant is nice but has dim lights and has mosquitoes which the management needs to look into. The hotel needs a renovation as with time the wear and tear are evident. The Hotel staff is Courteous and helpful staff. The check-in and checkout were smooth and easy. It’s a good budget hotel which one can choose to stay during their visit to Raipur."
