" This place used to be lovely, but over the years, it has gone downhill. The rooms are molding, old, and dirty. I had initially wanted to stay three nights but checked out the next day and went to RPJ hotel, which was far more modern and cheaper. Imperial is overpriced for the facilities. The front of the property and reception give that wow feeling, but the rooms need to be stripped and refurbished. Torn and old carpets. Stained. Bathrooms are smelly and dirty. The front desk could do with learning some manners. I would not recommend this hotel. Save your money and go elsewhere."

"The property was good in a prime area with good rents. It was wonderful from inside, too. But, the hotel is on 6th floor. I had to climb the stairs at night coz the lift is usually open at any floor. And at night, i saw a big sized cockroach in my room. The hotel staff threw it away but it was not small at all. Like a size of the palm. It was not a good experience."
