"I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times, and it’s always been great. The location is super convenient, the rooms are clean and have everything you need, including a kitchen. The staff are really friendly and always make you feel welcome. I’d definitely stay here again!"
"This is a very nice old building, with decent rooms quite convenient to UNSW and Coogee Beach, so there is good hiking and swimming in the immediate neighbourhood. The staff is really fantastic, so kudos on that front for sure. The major issue was with the wifi, which was only available in the lobby -- but the lobby becomes a very popular bar in the afternoon, so working down there is not really possible due to the noise. Making sure the rooms have a good connection would go a long way!"
"I think the hotel's location is quite good. From the airport, you can transfer from T8 to T2 for direct access. Across from the hotel are pharmacies and supermarkets. The hotel's self-service laundry and dry cleaning service is fantastic, so you don't need to bring a lot of clothes. While it's a bit far from downtown Sydney, the trams and buses are easily accessible, making it a better option. The surrounding area is clean, and the beach is within walking distance. The only minor downside is that the birds wake up so early in the morning, even before my alarm clock, and their calls are a bit loud, but it's still a pleasure."
"The Blenheim is a great little hotel/motel just across the road from the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital and a short 5 min walk to the UNSW Kensington campus. Rooms and the en-suite are small but manageable. We stayed in a queen bed room that had a small balcony that looked out onto the Light Rail/tram line. Despite the double glazed door and windows, light sleepers may have an issue with the noise coming through. There were rooms facing the other side of the building which might be quieter. We were exhausted so it didn’t bother us. There’s a laundry and kitchenette in the ground floor. I’m assuming guests can use them but we didn’t ask.
Amazing cafe up the road serving great coffee and breakfasts called “22grams”. There’s a bakery of the same name a couple of shops away. Delicious croissants.
Right opposite the cafe is the Randwick L2 Light Rail station which was just a 4 min walk away from the Blenheim. The L2 line takes you to Chinatown/Haymarket and ends at Circular Key.
Hotel reception is from 9am-5pm. There’s a key safe and a code given for after hours check in.
Just for the convenience of the location, ie needing to go to the hospitals or UNSW, I’d stay again."
"The room is very clean and has a small yard. The layout is quite good. There are just no disposable slippers. If necessary, you should prepare them yourself. Also, the room is not cleaned every day, and coffee and tea bags are not added every day. I guess they are afraid of disturbing customers. However, tell the front desk your requirements and they will clean and add them in time. I am not good at speaking, so we write a note to the front desk every day. In addition, the front desk is unmanned before 8 am and after 6 pm local time, which is very different from China. So be sure to bring the room card with you, in case you can't get in if you come back late. Overall, it is very good and cost-effective."
"A real hotel, the room rate is 175 USD, the accommodation is similar to the 7 Days Inn in China. Although the surrounding environment is quiet and clean. But the room is 10 square meters, the bathroom is 2 square meters, and only bath towels, hand towels and soap, shampoo, toilet paper, hair dryer, password box are provided. There are tea and coffee, but I had diarrhea after drinking them, probably because they are expired. The hotel does not even have bottled water, because Australian water is directly drinkable. Bottled water is available, but most of it is bought by Chinese. There is a public kitchen and laundry room, and you need to pay coins to wash clothes and sell laundry powder."
"Very satisfied. The school and kindergarten are right outside the door, which is very lively. Although it rained heavily for a week, the room was warm and comfortable, just like home. It is worth mentioning that the service staff were very enthusiastic. Not only did they help me carry my luggage, but they also greeted me every day when I left and came in."
With a stay at this apartment in Sydney (Randwick), you'll be a 5-minute drive from Coogee Beach and 10 minutes from Circular Quay. This apartment is 5.6 mi (9 km) from Sydney Opera House and 6.4 mi (10.3 km) from International Convention Centre Sydney.
Make yourself comfortable in your apartment.
"A small white house on the side of Avoca Road is the hotel. It has two floors, complete room facilities, comfortable mattresses and soft lighting. Sydney has strong sunshine, and there are reversible wooden blinds in the window to completely block the light. The water from the bathroom faucet is very strong. There is a public kitchen and washing machine downstairs to facilitate the needs of guests. The main door and room doors of the hotel are password locks, which will be given on the door card when checking in.
The hotel is basically self-service, and the front desk is open from 11 to 16 o'clock. If you check out early, you can put the door card in a small box in the window. You will receive a thank you email when you check out, which is consistent with the specifications of high-star hotels.
The hotel has a good location and can walk to UNSW. There is L2 light rail within a few hundred meters to CBD, and many bus lines can reach every corner of Sydney.
The room is comfortable, the transportation is convenient, and the price is low. This hotel is the first choice for students and parents in New South to land in Sydney."
