"Fantastic couple of days in the Apartments Renate in Rauris. Apartment in a great location hostess was fantastic nothing was too much trouble. Have stayed in 4 different places in Rauris and all of a high standard. Never been disappointed. Close to two lifts and all amenities."

"I just love this place.  The whole hotel , its well thought out routine and setup was just like a big hug from your favourite grandma, really comforting and welcoming. We had great food, lots of outdoors and fresh air and a good nights sleep every night. I returned from this holiday so refreshed and invigorated! My partner is the skier and he spent fabulous days on the slopes with an Irish friend we met around the fire in the hotel reception area on the second night! They both enjoyed the days out skiing, eating and having a beer or two. As for me, I slept like a dream every night in the cozy beds, woke to a super high quality nutritious breakfast before heading out on a different adventure put on by the Hotel Rauriserhof everyday. My favourite activity was the guided snow shoe hikes offered every day. These were EXACTLY what I needed. We also really enjoyed the romantic candlelit walk around the village, an Austrian tradition at this time of year. The hiking and activities were organised and run by two leaders, Christian and Ina, both of whom are kind and very skilled at leading activities for all ages and abilities. I met so many lovely people on these excursions. Finally, returning back to the hotel after a days adventure was a whole other level of happiness - relaxing in the spa and taking advantage of the heated outdoor pool which was magical. I can never forget swimming at night just the glow of the stars above and the lights of the pool rising through the steam and the sound of the church bells ringing. I will not ever forget that experience. And that was never the end of the day…the dinners were divine! On the first night we were greeted and taken to our table for the week, introduced to our waiter Fabian who was impeccable and engaging. The food choices were many and varied and all courses included vegetarian options. The quality was just exceptional. I never felt so well fed! We will return again and again just like so many others before us. ❤️ Thank you to the family Mayr and all the employees at the hotel who made our stay so very memorable ❤️❤️"

"We have been visiting Hotel Alpina for over 15 years for our annual snowboarding holiday, and there’s a reason we keep coming back – it is simply outstanding in every way. The hotel is immaculately clean throughout, from the bedrooms to the communal areas and dining room. The standards are exceptional and have genuinely set the benchmark by which we judge every other hotel we stay in! Thomas and Carmen have created something very special here. They provide a fantastic guest experience, supported by a team that is warm, welcoming and always happy to help. German is not our first language, but the staff are incredibly patient and speak excellent English, which makes us feel completely at ease. The food is another highlight and easily exceeds typical 4-star standards. Breakfast offers a wonderful hot and cold selection with great coffee to fuel a full day on the mountain. In the evenings, dinner is a real treat – a generous salad buffet, starter, soup, choice of main course, and delicious dessert every night, plus a cheese board if you can manage it! Hotel Alpina consistently delivers comfort, quality and genuine hospitality."

"The rooms were comfortable and warm, and the breakfast offered a lovely continental selection. The sauna and shower facilities were perfect after a tiring day of skiing. The hotel is conveniently located right across from the chairlift station and has a ski/gear room on the bottom floor. A hairdryer is also available in the bathroom if needed. I would happily return in the future—Gabi truly goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable."
