"A fantastic hotel with top-notch service. I booked it on the go, and the front desk proactively contacted me while I was still en route, sending my location and turning on the underfloor heating in advance. They even upgraded me to a room with oxygen supply – a wonderful surprise! The room was very clean and fully equipped. Although I only stayed one night, the experience was excellent, especially thanks to the incredibly welcoming lady at the front desk! I forgot to take pictures of the room… but I highly recommend it."

"The environment here is absolutely amazing, and the service is top-notch. The guy at the front desk was so enthusiastic. It's right on the edge of the grasslands, and you can see the grasslands and yaks from your room. Even though it was quite dusty at the entrance because the government was doing roadwork, as soon as you turn into the hotel, it becomes instantly peaceful and quiet. Breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but all the essentials were there. After staying here, it's hard to recommend those tent camps on the grasslands anymore."

"This stay was so pleasant! The hotel is located in the depths of the prairie, the window is endless green, and the starry sky is unbelievable at night. The best thing is that the hotel actually provides astronomical telescopes, and you can count the stars in bed, romantic and shocking. The service is also very intimate, from the check-in guidance to the grassland play suggestions, everyone is warm and thoughtful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food was authentic and delicious. This trip to the grassland is perfect because of this hotel, and I will bring my family next time! 🌿🔭"

"First of all, the housekeeper's service was quite good, and the room's decor was nice; it must have been newly opened recently. However, there are a few negative points I need to emphasize: 1. In the first room we entered, there were bugs, and the door wouldn't close properly; the curtains would open automatically. So we changed rooms. 2. In the second room, there were small spiders, and there was a persistent sewer smell. Most ridiculously, because the door lock malfunctioned and couldn't be locked from the inside, we specifically checked that the door was closed before going to bed, but when we woke up the next morning, we found the door open! This is extremely absurd; we wouldn't even know someone had entered while we were sleeping. Absolutely outrageous!! 3. The shower water temperature kept fluctuating; it was either very hot or automatically cooled down to very cold, making the water temperature very unstable. For such an expensive hotel, both the facilities and hygiene are terrible. I rarely give bad reviews, but I really have to give this one!"

"Of all the guesthouses I visited on the Gannan loop, this was absolutely my favorite! ❤️ The overall decor and surrounding environment were exactly to my liking. The owner was incredibly welcoming and patiently explained the clever design details hidden in the rooms. The room was decorated with antique objects and Tibetan-style furnishings, with paintings of black-necked cranes everywhere, each with its own story, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Opening the curtains revealed an endless grassland dotted with pika burrows; if you're lucky, you might even spot some adorable pikas. You could sit inside and quietly wait for a romantic sunset 🌄. There's also a small grassland behind the guesthouse where you can go out in the morning to watch the sunrise 🌅, and at night, after the moon sets, you can enjoy the starry sky and the Milky Way 🌌. The bedding seemed to be made of comfortable cotton and linen? Lying on it was incredibly comfortable, perfect for a restful sleep. The breakfast was also excellent; the milk was fragrant and delicious, and we even had some freshly picked mushrooms that morning—so fresh and tasty! 😉 Overall, I felt this was a hidden gem of a guesthouse, meticulously crafted by the owner. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Gannan! 🥰"

"This was one of our most expensive hotel stays in this trip & it definitely met our expectations. The room was really spacious & nicely decorated. Everything was spotlessly clean. The tv came with free online shows with no need for additional subscription fees. We wish we had arrived earlier to enjoy the room fully. The location was also perfect. We had a lovely morning walking around the grasslands enjoying the sunrise & the flowers. The breakfast provided was simple but filling & tasted good. Only gripe was the need to wait for the heater as it took a while for the water temperature to increase to an acceptable level. Moreover, the amount of heated water was also quite limited."

"The room is clean and tidy, equipped with smart toilet and electric heating. Even if you stay in summer, the temperature difference between day and night is still relatively large, so it is quite cold. There is an electric heating that feels very good. "Choosing the Vanlatu Hotel in Ruoergai was the best decision I ever made! The hotel is in a prime location, close to scenic spots and very convenient for sightseeing. The front desk lady was extremely welcoming and even gave a small gift upon check-in, which was a wonderful experience. The room was cozy and the bed was soft, which made for a wonderful night's sleep. The hotel environment is also very nice, quiet and comfortable, with beautiful surroundings. The breakfast cakes were especially delicious, and the children loved them. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I will definitely stay again!"
