"An absolute gem in the hills of Chiang Mai
We stayed as a family of five, spanning three generations — grandparents, us, and our child — and booked two pool villas for the trip. From start to finish, this resort exceeded every expectation.
The scenery alone is worth the trip. Perched in the hills with sweeping views, the resort truly is a destination in itself — you don’t need to leave the property to have an incredible stay.
The pool villas were fantastic, with plenty of space and privacy for the whole family, but even the standard rooms are beautifully done — you really can’t go wrong with either.
What set this stay apart was the service, especially at the restaurant. A staff member named Chai went above and beyond to accommodate my parents’ food allergies, checking in on every dish and making sure they felt completely taken care of. That kind of attentiveness is rare and made all the difference for us. The food itself was outstanding throughout our stay.
If you’re deciding between this and Anantara, save yourself the debate — come here instead. Between the views, the villas, the food, and the genuinely warm service, Panviman Chiang Mai is one of those rare resorts that lives up to the hype and then some. We’ll be back."
