"The Hotel "Fanari" is situated in same name town on the Rodopi coast, very close to the port and down town where there are many excellent tavernas. The hotel is modern and convenient structure that propose all necessary for one pleasant and quiet sojourn. It has modern furnished, wide and clean rooms with balcony that permit a beautiful view to surroundings. The bathrooms are fully equipped with all necessary things. On the ground floor there is a wide lobby and restaurant and there the guests could enjoy to quiet repose or to make very tasteful breakfast. For the drivers the hotel proposes enough wide parking for free. The staff of the hotel and especially Mr. Athanasios Tsoukas are very kind and all the time in service to the guests. The disposition of the hotel makes it very convenient place for sunbathing on the Beaches of Fanari, Messi or Arogis as well good start point for short trip to Saint Nicola Monastery on the Vistonida Lake or to Komotini - the capital of the Rodopi District."

"We have spent 3 nights in this small hotel. The hotel is a small family hotel (more a BB unit). Our room (better apartment) was a spacious one in the first floor (bedroom plus living room and kitchen very well equipped (It's the first time in my life to find small recycling bins in a hotel's room!!) Additionally the apartment was elegantly furnished. The guests can also use the table in the yard for having their breakfast or shedule the excursions or playing games. The village which can be used as a "base station" for excursions to Rodopi mountain and to the famous beaches of Platanitis, Fanari etc. is a big one and has everything a traveller needs. In 100-200 meters is the central square with a supermarket and mini-markets, taverns and bakeries, cafes and bars! The hotel doesn't provide breakfast, becouse someone can use his own kitchen or use the cafes-bakeries in or near the square where you can find a great variety for breakfast (to take-away or to sit there) The lady, owner of the apartments, is very polite and is living nearby. "

"We usually choose for our holidays small amd family run hotels where you can feel the warmth, the hospitality and the personal attitide of the staff. That is what we have found at Fanari hotel. The hotel is very well situated near the beach (5 minutes by car) and the center of the village (10 minutes on foot). The rooms are nicely decorated,spacious and the bathroom is newly furnished and modern looking. The breakfast is good with a lot to choose from. There is a restaurant where you can order a la carte or have a set menu (if you are on HB). The cusine is really good, offering local meals and delicious seafood. The hotel staff speaks very good English and Bulgarian. The nearby beach is really fantastic - the 3 km beach area offers fine sands, clear waters and lot of sunbeds. The whole combination of the hotel itself, the personalized service and the beach, will bring us back to Fanari hotel. Special thanks to the hotel staff for their kindness and willingness to help."
