Ramada by Wyndham Valencia Almussafes
"Nice hotel"
Hotel Santamarta
"Stayed here for two nights as we were attending a family wedding locally. It was the hotel we were told to book as others were staying here but I later saw the previous reviews. Please be aware that the rating is based on some very old reviews and some recent reviews which I feel is unfair. The hotel itself is fresh and clean when you enter. Staff at reception are efficient and polite. Our room was lovely and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have stayed in. Air conditioning was great. Large wardrobe space. The pool whilst small is cool and fresh which is what you need. It wasn't overcrowded as many guests chose to go to the beach which is a very short walk away. There is a small supermarket close by and a few restaurants which we didn't get a chance to try due to being at the wedding. There is waiter service at the pool for drinks which are reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast is good and better than some hotels I've stayed in which claim to be 5 star rated. Every afternoon, there is tea, fresh orange juice, jugs of iced water, a bucket of ice and some afternoon sweet treats in the reception area. They have a great bar area which is cool and comfortable seating. If I wanted something to improve at the hotel, it would be a larger safe considering the size of laptops and a better lunch buffet as we chose to eat here on one day and it wasn't great. Someone mentioned the music was loud but we were on one of the higher floors so maybe this didn't affect us but the hotel would no doubt listen to guests if they offered feedback forms and the consensus was for quieter, chilled music. One older review stated that the hotel charged for parking but this is not the case as we were able to park in the areas outside the hotel for free. Even though, I still stand by the 5 stars I have given them and would happily rebook another stay."
Hotel Bartos
"It has everything you need, very friendly receptionists, the second one even came up to the room to open the window which was jammed: the air in the room was unbreathable. More expensive than, for example, the day before in Catalonia where the hotel is on a completely different track. I give it a point because the receptionists were very nice. So: it can share the first prize for the worst price-performance ratio in ages with the Novina Wöhrdersee in Nuremberg."

"Great hotel with facilities"
Aparthotel El Faro
"After traveling from USA to Spain in an 18 hour flight and going through traffic and all we make it to the hotel around 3:30p.m while check in is at 4:00p.m be prepared to call and buzz and dial the number on the door to get no response until a guy comes out and tells us go eat and give the front desk time to come in …. Like what ….. cool , he ask for identification we provide him with real ID just to say that doesn’t work ….. cool here’s passport…. Proceeds to ask for our home address….. sir it’s listed in the driver license real ID I just handed you …. It’s almost like no one here knows what they are doing . Also , a slow season plenty of rooms available. Proceed to get rooms keys and room number listed in a piece of paper that he keeps …… we get to our room …. Not terrible but not clean, the bedding doesn’t smell like it’s been washed with anything disinfectant like Clorox maybe … everything has a weird smell. Only two towels in the room but it was 3 of us traveling and listed in the reservation. So I proceeded to go back down and ask for another towel luckily front desk was there at the time otherwise you’re screwed. There’s a thermostat in your room … yes…. But it’s pointless for you to try to control it because front desk has control of the thermostat so if you’re hot I suggest opening a window ….. because according to front desk it’s cold so they have the heat on. Mind you temperatures were in the 50s-60s degrees F. Once I called and said my room isn’t getting cool what do I get told it all runs general so if you want AC open a window , the heat will run according to front desk also , there were times we would leave and come back to the system being turned off or changed again by front desk. Housekeeping comes every 2 days I believe first time new towels and take out the trash , then the come do a full clean , I will say the cleaning staff is pretty good but they don’t always give you the exact towels you have already or clean your bed sheets , so if you need any of that chase them around because front desk has interesting working hours . Personally would not go back to this property . Toiletries bring them all ."

Hotel Sicania
"It is an older hotel, but pointed for it by an ideal location directly on the beach and promenade. The half-pension we booked was sufficient and delicious. Rooms convenient, but very clean. Personal very friendly and helpful. Shopping Consumption is accessible by foot."
