Hotel El Altar
"Older facilities, small expensive"
Quindeloma Art Hotel And Gallery
"The local hotel is very good, and the overall decoration also has a retro atmosphere. The hotel is very large, and there are different styles of small rest spaces at each end, adding color to the hotel. The pool is also large, divided into regular and slightly warm and slightly cold three temperatures. Each room of the hotel is decorated differently, very exquisite hotel, worth exploring. It is Valentine's Day dinner to be booked in advance. I went down at 20:30 and there were still people who didn't have a lot of empty tables, but I didn't book and didn't give it to the performance restaurant. It's really late to eat locally..."
Asher Hospedaje y Turismo
"A chic place! A stunning service, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, thank you for the hospitality!"
Hotel El Cisne Internacional
Hotel Spa Mansion Santa Isabella
"A lovely colonial building with a charming patio. The rooms are a bit small but have a nice style. Tea and coffee (only on the second day) available in the lounge area. There is a jacuzzi (or I should say a bathtub) available but at a fairly high fee. We were offered a deal: 15$ per person per hour instead of 25$. Were trying o enforce their taxi to go to Chimborazo for 40$ when a taxi there only costs 7$ one way. Were very fast checking us in, so fast they never asked for our passports and never asked us to pay, even at check-out - on that day they were too busy sorting out their computers. Then it was a nightmare to transfer the money. Breakfast was the usual and was only ok. Quantities were small. Had to ask a member of staff to get water. Staff speak basic English - they seem to speak English only as information is not always understood."
Wanderlot - Hotel Plaza Central
"Excellent hotel! Our stay was perfect from the moment we checked in. The staff is there to assist with anything and are all very welcoming. Bed was comfortable and breakfast delicious! The ambiance of the hotel is very special: they have kept the traditional structure of the house with a rustic, yet cozy, remodeling of the building."
Hotel Spa Casa Real
"We were a group of 16 tourists, we arrived in the hotel at approx 20:30, after approx 10 hours of driving, the hotel was informed knew that we will arrive late and that the next day at 8:00 we were leaving... and they checked us in the closest rooms to the restaurant where they hold a party with the music at maximum!!! COME ON!!! EITHER THEY HATE US, EITHER THIS IS HOW THIS HOTEL UNDERSTANDS TO MAKE TOURISM HERE, IN THIS PART OF THE WORLD, anyway this is a mockery of the idea of respect to the tourist!!!"
Hotel Hacienda Abraspungo
"We stopped at the Hacienda Abraspungo during our Andean road trip. Our reservation was made by Royal Galapagos who had arranged our excellent driver and the itinerary. The hacienda is a sprawling affair laid out like a largish motel but with rustic Spanish style around various court yards. We were met by very friendly and helpful staff as well as a local warm welcome drink . A nice way to start our stay. Our room was basic with a window overlooking one of the large courtyard gardens. For guest who were staying longer there were comfortable chairs on the front porch. The large clean room included a small heater which we used during our stay, given the high altitude and the time of year. The grounds are very pretty although there is a bit of a walk from our room to the main building which for us posed no problem. Equally good were dinner and breakfast. Nothing opulent but hearty and tasty with excellent service. All in all a nice road stop on our travels through Ecuador."
Hotel Montecarlo
"The hotel is a charming old building. Although not many of the staff spoke English, they were friendly and quick to use cell phone translation to communicate. Like most of the hotels we stayed in in Ecuador, the room had no windows to the outside making it rather dark. The room was a nice size but needed more hooks or racks. One small towel bar in the bathroom and no counter space. Just a couple of antique tables without drawer space. I like that water was provided by a water cooler rather than plastic bottles. Breakfast was by a voucher at the cafe next door -- eggs, a sandwich, fruit, juice and coffee. Good location, walkable to restaurants and a couple of pleasant squares."
