"I was very disappointed with this hotel the room was halfway cleaned, the TV only got two channels nobody ever came to fix it last night or this morning. The floors look nasty the sink was stopped up it was just a horrible state for me"

"We arrived at the hotel and it looked very nice so we checked in. It was around dinner time and the amenities that were listed in the web site were all wrong. They listed   a in-house restaurant ( no restaurant's) , they listed a bar with liquor and wine ( no liquor or wine bar ), they listed a gym ( they had two tread mills in a room the size of a large closet). We were not real happy but because we booked the room on line and paid for it , we could not cancel at that time or we would lose our money. The room rate was reasonable but when we found out that the web site was misleading we should have been able to cancel and the money’s refunded. We were tired so we went up to the room and it was small for a room with a king bed . The bathroom was ok with a walk in shower, but after a shower and you opened the door water dropped all over the floor. I forgot to say the room was very clean as well as the bathroom which was very nice. In the morning we went to the breakfast bar which was OK but again the amenities list said a full breakfast bar, I guess they meant if a few guests were eating at the same time it would be a full bar. In closing I will pass on the Tru by Hilton"

"Great location for our trip! We were within 5 miles of our destination. The hotel allows smoking still which for us is not great to walk smelly hallways. The room decor was nice, but the mirrors were smudged and the lamps really dusty. Microwave and mini fridge work, but no coffee maker. The property is old, but for our couples night in Roanoke it served its purpose. Waffle House is next door and that was great the morning of checkout! Overall we would stay again all we needed is a bed and a shower. 2.5 of 5 stars. Needs work and better staff at front desk."

"I stayed for 6 days straight this time 🥲, that was enough! There are lots of places to eat, drink, and shop downstairs. The hotel itself isn't new, but it has everything you need, and the service was good. It's a convenient choice whenever I'm in Roanoke for business."
