"In fact, there are not many hotels in the town. The whole town is built on the mountain. Most of the hotels are located on the surrounding mountains. If you want the most environmental atmosphere, you can live in the old city. The hotel is in the center of the old street under the mountain. The overall feeling is good. There is an elevator next door. Direct access to the mountain, old street vehicles are limited, But the car staying at the hotel can drive to the hotel entrance to temporarily park up and down the luggage, and then stop at the hotel's free parking area under the hillside."

"Excellent host! Had a wonderful time at the hotel and great conversations! Lovely bar with a great selection of things to do in the area. The room was fully kitted from bathroom en suites, towels, air conditioning and a tv! Great bed and a nice view! An evening in the building’s shaded terrace and quiet setting is a great way to wind-down after a long day of visiting. Merci encore pour la belle experience et bonne continuation! Tudal et Clara."

"This is our second time here and it remains a charming, welcoming, restful and rural spot. Great swimming pool. Shame it is not doing evening meals at the moment but it is only a 10-minute stroll into L’Hospitalet so that is no big deal. Spotlessly clean and attractive pool area with birdsong all around."

Hotel du Lion d'Or

"Accept the fact that this hotel is 600 years old and you won’t go far wrong. Our first room had a sliding toilet door which was off its runners and didn’t close properly. Our next room was much better, it was spacious the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Natural light was a bit low and there were original beams. The restaurant was in another building (similar age) continental breakfast only. Dinner was ordered the previous evening and was satisfactory, the staff were all extremely pleasant. Go back again? Probably. This was a Leger Luxuria holiday. We paid a premium price, but did not receive premium treatment. To be fair our drivers were excellent, but our coach was old and a bit shabby. Leger also put us on the ferry instead of using the channel tunnel which put hours onto our journey.."
