"Avoid at all costs!! Me my partner and 4 year old stayed here for 2 nights for my sons birthday event nearby. The owner was very rude and controlling, he attempted to walk into the room we were staying in with another man-whilst we were in there. We were promised a parking space with our booking but as soon as a few workers turned up to stay after us (which of course is more money to him) he didn’t care about where we parked and we actually had to end up pecking on the end of a random street (baring in mind how awfully rough the area is) and told us it wasn’t his problem. The hotel also smelt of BO and does not have a diner ect as the photos show."

"Very scenic location and a fascinating old boat. The owners are very friendly and make you feel at home. Breakfasts are superb. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs as noise from the motorway starts at 5 in the morning. Very good pub, the White Horse, in walking distance with excellent food (try the Kentish smokies), good beer, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere."

"A vintage & rustic place which in its heyday must have been beautiful. Situated on the high street with parking with a very lively pub next door excellent for the young ones but not for us older ones as the music was very loud. Shame the upkeep of the place hasn’t been kept up. Some of the previous reviews, I would agree too."
