"If I could give this hotel a zero rating I would. The only thing a hotel has to deliver is a good night's sleep, which was impossible here. Before sleeping I found what can only be described as a plastic bag covering the bed mattress. I always remove plastic under sheets because they cause night sweats, so this was duly removed. I found sleep hard and awoke really early to ringing wet hair, only to find that the same plastic bags were fitted as pillow under covers too. Even worse, there is no shampoo and conditioner in rooms (just shower gel) - so I will now have to leave the hotel to buy some before I can sort out my hair and start my day. I have never, in all my years of travel, found plastic coverings on pillows. I don't know what clientele this hotel usually attracts, but can only assume that they are all children or incontinent. This hotel is supposed to be four star. How can this be the case if it needs to cover mattresses and pillows with plastic bags? I would expect this to be the case only in seedy motel rooms that have a different purpose entirely! There are no fridges in rooms either, which would be usual for a four star hotel and the hotel has no facilities. There was no information about the hotel provided in guest rooms (none on the tv either), or given by the reception staff on check in. We couldn't locate the alleged bar and went out instead. Not recommended."
