"The hotel was located a bit further out from the main attractions. However, with that its also at a quieter area and nice break away from the touristy area. Because of the location, it is also convenient to get to the Gotemba outlet mall. There’s a mountain view outside the balcony. A convenience store and bus stop just right outside the hotel. We felt the breakfast served was underwhelming, and the same food was served on the 2 days we were there.
The hotel was spacious and really clean, interior design was beautiful. The hotspring was really nice as well.
The staff recommended the Izakaya restaurant called Monta, just few minutes walk from the hotel. The food was really good and open till 12am!"

"Having visited Japan over ten times, this hotel was a huge disappointment 😞😞
**Service was completely subpar:**
Throughout our stay, we encountered numerous service issues. For example, my passport was photocopied multiple times, and water wasn't proactively offered during meals.
The most outrageous incident happened when we were about two kilometers up a mountain near the hotel. It was already dark, and the path back was a difficult winding trail. Feeling unsafe, we asked if the hotel could help call a taxi or provide a shuttle. They flat-out told us, ”We don't handle that; you can ask a roadside restaurant for help...” (The manager offered a verbal apology the next day 🙄).
**Facilities:** The rooms are a bit old and maintenance is average, but they were clean enough.
**Food:** If you stay for two consecutive days, the second day's breakfast and dinner are quite good. The first day's was not so great.
**Onsen (Hot Springs):** All the hot springs are indoors; there's no real outdoor open-air bath. All the springs are quite small, but private baths are available at no extra charge.
**Positives:** There are some complimentary beverages, Haagen-Dazs ice cream in the afternoon, and a selection of yukata (bathrobes) in different colors.
Overall, it definitely doesn't justify the 6,000 yen per night price tag 😑"

"The scenery is beautiful, and the location is great, right next to Lake Ashi. The rooms are quite large and the facilities are good. However, staying on the first floor means the view is largely blocked. Also, there's no distinction between the main building and the annex; if you want to book the main building, it seems like all bookings on Ctrip are for the annex. Try to stay on the second floor for views of the lake and Mount Fuji."

"There is no window, and there is no notice on the hotel booking page. The advantage is that the room is full of design, the lighting and color are advanced, and the height difference between the bathing area and the sleeping area makes people feel not depressed by the lack of windows. The disadvantage is that there is no lobby, no facilities, and no service."

GGuest UserThis trip went to stay at a unique hot spring hotel that has just opened. Rooms with natural hot springs and private gardens can watch movies in the open air in the private garden. Privacy is good to be protected! The Tsuruyoshigawa Hotel is hidden in the fishing village of the Manazuru Peninsula, the room is new, the garden and pond on the first floor are very nice, and it is very beautiful to relax and look at the pond while drinking coffee. The sunlight was illuminated by the surface of the water, making me feel relaxed at once. The most unforgettable thing was the smiles and warm and kind service of all the staff during the stay. Dinner and afternoon tea are unique to the seaside, and I was particularly impressed that there was such a luxurious dinner in the fishing village. All the staff at the restaurant were very polite, the service was fine and the food was really delicious and an extraordinary experience. I would like to go again if I have the opportunity.

It's a clean, classic hotel, and many of the guests were laid-back, so I felt very relaxed. I went sightseeing during the day, but next time I think it would be nice to relax on the lounge's veranda.
The breakfast buffet was also delicious.
I loved the curry and stew.
I arrived in Hakone by public transportation, so it was very convenient that the hotel's free shuttle service ran from Togendai until the evening. The shuttle service to Togendai after check-out was also very convenient.
There was something like a bus stop near the hotel, so next time I would like to check the bus schedule so that I can enjoy sightseeing more flexibly.
There didn't seem to be any restaurants nearby, so I'll do some research on that next time.

～～yida～（Lurking）The environment is very good, the hotel is a pleasant experience on the mountain. There are indoor hot springs in all rooms. We live in Room 11 and have a lot of space about 35 square meters. There is a lounge for a smooth drink and food in the hotel, and the breakfast is very good. Will come again next time.
