"I booked this hotel's superior double room at the last minute. It seemed a bit cramped, but since it was only for one night, I didn't think much of it. However, the room far exceeded my expectations. The overall layout was upscale, spacious, bright, and clean. It also had a sea view and excellent natural light – the best value for money! Breakfast consisted of easy-to-eat millet porridge and bread, with a wide variety of options. The sea is just downstairs, and there's Sakura Lake nearby. You can also drive to Naxianghai and the zoo. The supermarket inside the hotel is also reasonably priced. I've already recommended it to my friends, haha!"

The service during our stay was excellent; both the lobby manager and front desk staff were very enthusiastic. The hotel also provides tools for mudflat activities (赶海工具). We had all our meals at the hotel restaurant – the ingredients were fresh, the taste authentic, and the chef was professional. They also offer processing services for fish you catch or crabs you buy. The hotel's shrimp paste is also highly recommended and makes for a great souvenir to share with family after the trip."

"The room's view was absolutely stunning, a breathtaking 270° sea view. The automatic curtains opened to reveal an unparalleled ocean vista. The entire hotel felt like a cruise ship, effortlessly offering panoramic views of the vast ocean and the ebb and flow of the tides. The hotel's unique ambiance made it a standout in the Rongcheng area. While its prime sea view location made it somewhat remote, it's very close to the Bruvis shipwreck and Swan Lake. The seaside train is also within walking distance. The hotel service truly exceeded my expectations. It wasn't just excellent in the usual sense, but a genuine and considerate warmth. Everyone there was enthusiastic and patient. So even though I was initially slightly dissatisfied with the late-night snacks, I was ultimately moved by the hotel's sincerity, smiles, and practical service philosophy, and felt quite apologetic instead. Special thanks to the hotel manager, who, knowing it was our first time there, drove us to see the shipwreck. On our last day, they even took us to the airport in the snow – truly a heartwarming and genuine gesture like family! I think we will definitely stay at this hotel again. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and the service is excellent!"

"Hygiene: There was a lot of sand on the bed and blankets. The room leaked when it rained, and there were many insects that would occasionally crawl out. You need to be able to tolerate this if you want to stay there. There are free non-motorized activities available. The room is poorly soundproofed, and the sound of the waves is loud, making it difficult to sleep at night. The scenery is quite nice; you can see a shipwreck."
Rezen Weihai Rongcheng Chishan Seaview Hotel
"This was my most expensive and most uncomfortable night of my week-long trip. First of all, there was only one person at the front desk! The hotel didn't even have a bellhop to save money! There was only one receptionist in the entire lobby, so I had to drag my luggage back to my room all by myself! It doesn't meet four-star standards at all! The complimentary fruit was a complete rip-off, and the breakfast was terrible; I had to buy it separately from the breakfast restaurant. Objectively speaking, it was really bad. The staff were also very impatient and even tried to take things from me, so when I spilled some oily soup on myself, they didn't apologize at all. The room smelled awful, and the cleanliness was appalling. The bathroom floor was always wet, and it would overflow when I showered, which is extremely dangerous with a child. Plus, there was construction noise starting early in the morning! I'm speechless! This hotel has absolutely no management! It's a complete mess. I really don't know what the general manager is doing. They really need to reflect on their management. I only thought that expensive meant good, but this seriously ruined my vacation. It's no different from the Hanting Hotels chain, and even worse. They don't even have enough staff. I originally planned to stay for four days, but I checked out early!"

The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and smartly laid out. Outside the window was a vast forest, and opening the balcony door allowed me to breathe in fresh air – the ambiance was perfect. The park environment is tranquil, with excellent facilities, and the staff were warm and attentive. Staying in a beachfront RV, feeling the sea breeze, and watching the tide ebb and flow is a unique experience for a vacation in Rongcheng. I strongly recommend it!"

Self-driving parking is convenient, not far from the beach, you can go for a walk on the beach in your leisure time, the experience is very unique."

"This is my first negative review on Ctrip after many years. First, upon entering the hotel, I was surrounded by unfinished buildings, making the experience unpleasant. Service was nonexistent. The front desk staff seemed to be two summer workers who disappeared after check-in. There was no phone, the kettle was rusty, and the floors were dirty. It felt like no one was managing or cleaning the place; even the room key was rusty. The storefront downstairs was filled with construction supplies and tools, and it smelled terrible. The hotel pictures showed a swimming pool, but it was filthy and not open. Regarding the room: First, the air conditioner was right above the bed, making a huge noise. Second, part of the ceiling was glass, waking me up at 5 am and preventing me from sleeping. I've never encountered a truly frustrating guesthouse before. Please avoid this place!"

It's also within a ten-minute drive of Hailu Island, Motianling, and Xixiakou Wildlife Park. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Weihai!"

You can see the sea as soon as you open the curtains 🌊, and there's even a swimming pool outside – a dream come true for southerners!"

"Originally, I was drawn to the 270-degree sea view room, but after a closer look, the bed was too small and not suitable for a family with two children. I had to give up the beautiful view and opt for a location closer to the zoo, which was a good advantage. Our room's window faced the road, so it could get a bit noisy when there were many vehicles (if you mind, you can choose a room on the other side), but it didn't affect our overall sleep. As someone from an entirely inland area, the fishy smell by the sea was quite strong, but only outdoors, not inside the room. When checking in, we received some ham to feed the seagulls, which excited the kids. We didn't get to feed them at the hotel, but we did at the zoo, which was a unique experience and satisfied the children's curiosity. The breakfast at the restaurant was very refined, simple, and practical, unlike the ostentatious spread of some star-rated hotels. We even received a farewell gift upon checking out, which was a very thoughtful touch. It would be perfect if rooms with a pool and sea view also offered family-friendly layouts."

"Parking is convenient, the hotel is easy to find, and the sanitation is acceptable. There's fruit and plenty of water in the room. Breakfast ends at 10:00, but if you go by 9:30, there's basically nothing left. I especially want to commend the front desk lady. One evening, quite late, I suddenly remembered I forgot to bring a package up, but my child was asleep, so it was inconvenient for me to go down and get it myself. I called the front desk, and the lady was very helpful and delivered it to my room within a minute. I'm so grateful to her. (She has a thin, oval face and glasses.) But!! Let's be honest, here are some negatives: couldn't the maid clean the room later? We stayed for three nights. On the first day, there was a knock on the door at 9:00 a.m. for cleaning. I tolerated it and let the maid in. Since I was still washing and putting on makeup, I only let them take out the trash. I didn't pick up anything else. Because I went to bed late that night and wanted to sleep in the next day, I didn't want to get up early. To prevent them from knocking on my door so early to clean up, I deliberately hung a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. As a result, around 9 o'clock the next day, they still knocked on the door and asked if I wanted to clean up. Oh my god, can't they see the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door?! I was speechless! I was really angry! I was really convinced!"
