"We arrived at Castillos del Mar at approximately 10:20 pm. My trip was for work, and I'm returning to work next day, They had a party going on in a tent with very loud music. I spoke to reception and asked to speak to a supervisor. They said there wasn't one available at night and were very rude, saying they couldn't do anything and that I should contact the place where I booked my stay."

"It was not close to restaurants. They did not offer any services. The control for the air conditioner was not working. But the worst was that they had to stay with my driver’s license as a security and did not liked that"

"When we got there, I had a real hard time opening the door. After I slide the key card light went green I turned the handle and pushed but nothing. It wasn't until I tried pushing harder that the door opened. We go in our room and it smelled, was dirty, no water and no towels. We decided to go out and eat something and report all of the above to the front desk on our way out; however, when I tried to close the door of our room it wouldn't close. I tried different ways to close it but only to find out that even when the door was closed, all you had to do is push the door and it would open. We felt so insecure living our belongings in our room. I reported it to the front desk and they assured me all of it was going to be taking care of. We came back and the door did not get fixed, still a smelly dirty room and no towels. We brought two beach towels and I used one to take a shower. When I got out of the shower I slipped and fell on the bathroom floor. I landed on my back, hit my head on the wall and hurt my left elbow on the floor. It was late, I was tired, in pain and I couldn't really move too much. My wife helped me to bed and gave me a massage and I felt asleep. The next day I reported everything above, but when we came back they only brought towels and they also put some towels on the bathroom floor. They did not clean nor got rid off the smell or fixed the door."

"We stayed gor two nights in Feb.2026. Everything was excellent except there were two instances the Internet and power went dead. Fortunately it was not too long. All in all it worths the money to stay there. Very convenient location , 10 minutes walk from the beach."
