"We had a fantastic honeymoon at Bakers and Sons earlier this year. We would highly recommend anybody thinking of staying here to book. Game drives with Mudy were second to none, we saw so much game and really enjoyed Mudy’s company too. Moses and the front of house team looked after us so incredibly well and all the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcome. By the end of our stay we felt like part of their family. We particularly liked how much the reserve were supporting local residents and were embedded within their community. Would particularly recommend the Man Eating Lion tour and the chance to meet a local tribe, plus the game drives. We were also treated to a walk around the local village by Moses which we really appreciated. 10/10 stars ⭐ we cannot wait to go back."

"Selous Kinga Lodge… a big thank you for all the services you provided us during our 4-day stay with you. Everything was amazing! Food that I will remember for a very long time, in one word, delicacy. The staff always smiling and helpful. The manager Justin is an amazing person, he always tried to make our stay even more enjoyable, although I think it couldn't have been better. He had a huge smile on his face every day and his good mood was simply contagious. We were given a "secluded" cabin where we had privacy and a perfect view. The highlight was when a few hours after accommodation we could see elephants from our terrace about 30 meters away from us. It was an amazing experience. Monkeys were everywhere, they were harmless but very curious. Kinga Lodge will literally show you the jungle in the best sense of the word. Our cabin was beautiful, cozy. A small gecko visited us here and there. Every day we returned to a beautifully tidy cabin. Romantic evenings with a drink in hand and sitting by the fire with a beautiful view were priceless! We felt very comfortable there. Justin taught us various greetings, danced with us and every day after our safari we could share our experiences with him and he sincerely enjoyed it with us. We will definitely come back here again one day. Once again Asante sana Selous Kinga Lodge."

"We had booked holiday through Secret Escapes and we were very pleasantly surprised that a new lodge had been built with excellent new rooms and facilities. The lodge is only about 10 minutes away from the airfield and your seeing the wildlife straight away. Check in was quick and the rooms were big clean and comfortable. Nice patio plunge pool and upstairs patio area. Bar and restaurant are next to each other with a good selection of food and drinks. We definitely recommend staying here !"

"Here’s a polished version that keeps the warmth and character of your experience: Some might describe this as a slightly Westernised safari experience, and in some ways it probably was, but it was also absolutely wonderful. From the Maasai warrior porter service to the exquisite food, everything felt thoughtfully done, although the wasps occasionally seemed determined to take over the dessert and fruit area! The surroundings were beautiful, the lodges were spacious and comfortable, and the bar stayed open late, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. The staff could not have done more to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. There was the occasional wild baboon wandering through, which only added to the sense of being somewhere truly special. The Maasai staff escorted us safely to and from our lodges at night, while the monkeys, although sometimes a little noisy, simply went about their own business and showed no interest in ours. It was a genuinely memorable and relaxing stay. Everything felt special, and I would happily return."
