"We had unforgettable days at Baker & Sons Safari Company. Upon arrival we were absolutely blown away by the beauty of the place and the welcome of Moses and all the staff. All immersed in uncontaminated nature, with cute little monkeys popping up at all times. The lodge overlooks the beautiful Rufiji River crowded with hippos and crocodiles, an incredible adventure for the little ones and absolutely exciting for us adults too. The rooms are very nice, clean and well organized. Excellent meals and immensely kind and helpful staff. Graydon organized perfect days for us, from the exciting safari in the Nyerere National Park, to the walking safari with breakfast-pick nick, the boat trip on the river, the village and the smiles of lovely children... these days will remain in our hearts forever! Thanks Graydon! We can only absolutely recommend this wonderful place to anyone who wants a truly unique experience!"

"Selous Kinga Lodge… a big thank you for all the services you provided us during our 4-day stay with you. Everything was amazing! Food that I will remember for a very long time, in one word, delicacy. The staff always smiling and helpful. The manager Justin is an amazing person, he always tried to make our stay even more enjoyable, although I think it couldn't have been better. He had a huge smile on his face every day and his good mood was simply contagious. We were given a "secluded" cabin where we had privacy and a perfect view. The highlight was when a few hours after accommodation we could see elephants from our terrace about 30 meters away from us. It was an amazing experience. Monkeys were everywhere, they were harmless but very curious. Kinga Lodge will literally show you the jungle in the best sense of the word. Our cabin was beautiful, cozy. A small gecko visited us here and there. Every day we returned to a beautifully tidy cabin. Romantic evenings with a drink in hand and sitting by the fire with a beautiful view were priceless! We felt very comfortable there. Justin taught us various greetings, danced with us and every day after our safari we could share our experiences with him and he sincerely enjoyed it with us. We will definitely come back here again one day. Once again Asante sana Selous Kinga Lodge."

"Here’s a polished version that keeps the warmth and character of your experience: Some might describe this as a slightly Westernised safari experience, and in some ways it probably was, but it was also absolutely wonderful. From the Maasai warrior porter service to the exquisite food, everything felt thoughtfully done, although the wasps occasionally seemed determined to take over the dessert and fruit area! The surroundings were beautiful, the lodges were spacious and comfortable, and the bar stayed open late, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. The staff could not have done more to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. There was the occasional wild baboon wandering through, which only added to the sense of being somewhere truly special. The Maasai staff escorted us safely to and from our lodges at night, while the monkeys, although sometimes a little noisy, simply went about their own business and showed no interest in ours. It was a genuinely memorable and relaxing stay. Everything felt special, and I would happily return."

"The accommodations were super fun rustic-style huts, beds comfy, shower Ok. Our food was plentiful, excellent and quite western, on the river location with lots of crocs and hippos, great staff. Loved the nostalgic record player, old records and monkeys surrounding us! . The Safari was very good and fishing made my husband’s day. If you are expecting a guided experience you might consider it more of a boat experience and you should be experienced yourself and bring your own gear. Many tiger fish were hooked, but few landed. Plan on fishing amongst wonderful wildlife and lots of crocs! The man-killing lion tour on the way home needed more of a tie-in to the Lodge and could be shortened up. We had a great time and the Bakers were easy to work with! "

"Our safari trip was everything we wanted and more. We had an expert driver called Ali and Fabian was our very knowledgeable guide. The animals were amazing to see in their natural environment but the highlight was an unexpected trip to a hot spring for a quick dip! The staff at the resort were very attentive and we felt really spoiled. The bush walk with guide Steven and the Masai Malaki was informative and gave us a taste of what life in the bush is really like. The resort was beautiful with the added bonus of being able to watch the animals at the water hole while enjoying evening cocktails."
