"We had the most incredible stay! The cottage was gorgeous, with hot water and a beautiful view, comfortable bed, all the amenities you need. Paul and his staff are incredibly friendly and relaxed, ensuring every need and wish are granted. The food is out of this world. Most of all, the opportunity to learn about the Maasai community and connect with the local people is such a joy and honor. Lekurinde, a Maasai warrior, took us on a game drive and tracked a leopard - and shared his musical talents by a campfire. I can’t wait to come back with my family for another stay!"

"My husband and I just checked out of the StarBeds in Loisaba Conservancy. We were there two nights and three days. While there, our experience was exceptional. Words are not fitting for the level of care, kindness, professionalism, and joy we experienced. Mohammed, the manager, was informative, organized, and led his team with both professionalism and heart. John, our butler for the stay, was always thinking of what we could need. He shared much of the culture with us, which was very important to us. At night, he used his laser light to show us the stars, in the morning, he showed us how to make Kenyan tea! He was amazing. Balcha, chef, went above and beyond to accomodate my food preferences. We lived in France and eaten top notch food, but Balcha's menus and dinners were on par with anything we experienced in France. Martin, the room steward, took care of all the things that matter, water, sleeping arrangements, and necessities. Solomon was our safari guide and driver. I don't really have words to express the extraordinary experience he helped us have as we drove taking in the beautiful world. He, like John, helped us understand the culture. His knowledge of animals, plants, and birds was both astonishing and educational. He worked really hard to help us get to see lions, cheetahs, and a leopard. While we had no expectations, Solomon is the definition of exceptional. If you want to be immersed into Kenya culture, experience a once in a lifetime opportunity, and learn from Kenyans visit Starbeds! You won't be disappointed. "There are not many places where the managers are so attentive of their guests. Luke was always making sure everything was going to plan. And the staff as a whole looked after us as if we were royalty. We had a great time. The safaris were great, the cottage was great, the food was to die for. Happy memories."
