"Our third stay at The Feversham Arms Hotel.  We were allocated a pool suite which was excellent.  Apparently the hotel is up for sale, the administrators have been brought in.  Hopefully the new owners will be found and after a few tweaks here and there the hotel will be five stars."

"I stayed here to take pictures of the stars. To my surprise, the hotel's seasonal platter was so delicious. It really had the aroma of earth, which reminded people of the original beauty of food. The room was older, but it was quite comfortable to live in. It was very suitable. People who like quietness."

"This is my favorite hotel during this trip to the UK. It's really like the kind of hotel in a classic novel, with a bar or restaurant downstairs and several guest rooms upstairs. The driver thought that the conditions of such a hotel would be very poor and not as good as a hotel. Actually no, it’s very nice inside, clean, comfortable, spacious and unique! The most unforgettable thing for me was that on the day of arrival, I was menstruating and I didn’t have any sanitary napkins. I was very anxious because there were no supermarkets around and the location was quite remote. I booked this place because I wanted to take the Pickering Steam Train the next day. Hotel. I ate on the first floor and told the waiter about my difficulties. I didn't express myself accurately. The waiter went to the back to get dry paper towels, wet paper towels, and sanitary napkins, and asked me which one I needed. I pointed at the sanitary napkin. She went to the back and gave me three pieces, which were wrapped so that no one else could see them. I thanked her very much and wanted to give her money, but she didn’t want it. I gave her a brooch I bought the day before yesterday, and she happily accepted it. I was very happy!"

"Deluxe room was clean but very small. Twin beds were inches apart from each other with no room to move further apart. Meals were only adequate, the main courses we had both chosen from the evening menu weren’t available, sold out by 7pm, so we had to select alternatives, which were less than inspiring. Altogether a rather disappointing experience"

"delicious Sunday lunch! Super Sunday Roast Beef! Beef so tender and tasty! Been so disappointed with preheated, dry, grey and cooked days before nonsense tasteless lacking passion and overpriced - it's a treat to find a chef that knows how to make an amazing roast beef Sunday lunch!! Roast Pots and all trimmings super and banging Yorkshire puddings! if i could make any changes it would be to serve prawn cocktail in a dish more practical!! That being said it was still fab and super tasty!! Great great lunch! buono buono"

"We treated ourselves to a night away in a beautiful hotel, and this didn't disappoint Staff were so courteous and friendly, the lounge and dining room were beautiful, it was like visiting a wealthy country relative! Food was delicious and well presented too Only negative was very poor Internet/WiFi signal, but for 1 night, it really didn't matter"

The Crown, Hutton le Hole

"What a find! Fabulous accommodation in the most picturesque village of Hutton le Hole. Our stay had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and modern bathroom had an amazing shower! King size bed was very comfortable with lovely crisp linen. We even had milk, butter, loaf of bread, jams and marmalade and cereals on our arrival and tea/coffee. Stunning walks and views from doorstep. Great meals in the pub and friendly staff. Thank you, we will definitely be returning."
