"My room was located at the side of the hotel, overlooking the river. It was delightful to open my balcony door and hear the sound of running water filling my room (to be clear it was the sound that came into my room, not the water itself). Inside, the room was spacious and had a style sitting somewhere between Scandinavian and Swiss alpine. The hotel is on the edge of town and provides ready access to the surrounding countryside, including a pathway by the aforementioned river. I had both lunch and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The food and service were good and there is a nice outdoor area to dine in, weather permitting. All of the staff that I encountered at the hotel were professional and welcoming. All in all, I had a very pleasant stay in charming Gstaad."

The children can walk or play in the Village center, they also have a playroom and there are also free to use toy tractors to use in the village. Try the horse meat! "I have already spent one weekend at Golfhotel Les Hauts de Gstaad last year, and this is my 2nd time there. I am happy to see that the quality is still the same: our family room was spotless, all common places (Spa, restaurant, kids playroom, toilets) were all very clean, the pillows are extremely comfortable, all the personnel (from the reception to the waiters) are very friendly and helpful, the restaurant is nice and the breakfast offers a wide range of choices. We were even surprised and moved by the sweet message and small gift given to my husband for his birthday. Thank you very much and bravo to the whole team!"

"We have been going to Spitzhorn now for several years for Christmas and summer. There truly is nothing negative that one can say. The service is impeccable, the rooms are really cozy, clean. The staff is always smiling and helpful and Ilse and Michel make you feel at home with all their caring and kindness. The food is excellent and everyone will always make sure you have everything you need, most accommodating. 10 minute walk to Saanen train station, bus services into Gstaad also 5-10 minute walk away, very practicle and well situated. I would highly recommend anyone this family orientated hotel with all it's important assets to make your stay memorable."

"This is one of 3 Hotel selected by our Friend. Honestly. This was the most cost effective, our stay in Gstaad was for several days only It is true to name it’s sake, it truly is “A place in heaven” We were picked up ( free of charge) at the train station ( public transportation is so convenient, reasonably price, easy to maneuver, and you can’t beat the VIEWS )by Tim Matti( one of the owners) Short ride to Hotel. The Hotel is impeccable, very friendly accommodating staff, there’s a restaurant on premises( they provide room service). Menu is varied, typical of European fanfare, we loved the variety of crepes, Pizza delicious ( blia, all local fresh ingredients) Our room had two closets, a very small keyed safe. Queen size Comfy bed, shower( no tub),blow dryer. There’s a pool, a spa( reservations are required) They provide Bikes, there’s a play ground for children It is very convenient to everything Gstaad has to offer"

"This 3 star hotel punches much above its ratings. The rooms are very well appointed, with contemporary furniture, very comfortable beds, spacious, and well equipped. Excellent toilet and shower facilities. All well above what you would expect for a 3 star hotel. The restaurant serves a good breakfast, and the evening menu is excellent. All aur meals were delicious, with a Swiss menu with a Mexican twist. The staff were very friendly, and the Director has a quirky sense of humour! Perfectly central location, close to the rail station We hope to be back next year"

"This is a serene part of the world and the hotel is really a large boutique hotel. Beautifully designed with a nice outside area and in the middle of shorter or longer hikes. We had a large balcony and the room was large, tastefully decorated and above all looked kind of unique. We had an excellent dinner at the hotel, but the breakfast was ok ish. Not to forget that the service was friendly and professional everywhere. Needs to be noted the the pool is indoor only. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a romantic or sporty weekend."
