"We left our room. It was dirty, bedding had stains of some sort on several areas on top cover and sheet did not look like a freshly laundered sheet. The room was dark, smelled musty. This was the third choice hotel we booked in the last two weeks of our cross country trip. We walked out of this one and lost our room fee, we stayed in one for four days in Salt Lake City but it was not good either. It was a bit better than this one. We loved the one we stayed at in Moab, Utah. It was awesome. Two out of three is not a good sign. I think we may rethink our loyalty programs going forward."

People outside hollering throughout the night. Check out took forever. Only positive was good water pressure in the shower."

"This is the worst hotel experience we have ever had. Reservation was made and paid for about 2 weeks before we got there. On the day of arrival I checked in about 3pm and after I got our things into the room I left to go visit with local family. When we got back that evening we were locked out of our room. I went to the front desk to see why. The man there said i needed to pay him a dollar. I ask why i needed to do that since i paid in full when i made the reservation. He started to tell me why but I could not understand him at all because of his strong accent. As for the hotel itself: it was dark, damp, smelled moldy/musty and the carpet in the hallway smelled bad and looked dirty and the ceiling was leaking. The people who own or run the place were very rude. Never again would I stay there even if they paid me to!"

"I booked a non smoke room for my family, the room offered was full of smoke, smells of Cigarette all over the bedsheet. bedsheet were having burn mark from cigarettes. bathroom tiles were broken from many places. over all very terrible experience."

"Beautiful 1800 mansion like a museum, very original, well maintained, very clean. As it is promoted as Bed and Breakfast, we were expecting some sort of service, but it was truly self service AirBnB style. First, the house was very cold especially in the bedroom sleeping at night. Second, the breakfast was a disappointment. The description talked about have the access to the kitchen 24 hours especially breakfast. When we went to the kitchen in the morning, there was almost no food there. No eggs in the fridge. The cut watermelon in the container stores in the fridge was like days old and left over with just a few pieces there. There was some lettuce in a container but it was old with red/brown color on them. I found one cup of yogurt but it was expired on 4/7. While we were enjoying the historic house and experience, but we didn’t see the value of the money we pay."
