"I stayed here for one night on a business trip. The room wasn't particularly spacious, but the facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the amenities were excellent (they even had disposable slippers). I was also able to rent an iron. I didn't have time to use it, but there was a large public bath on the first floor. What's more, even though I booked a room-only stay, I was able to enjoy the breakfast buffet at the restaurant on the first floor. The location is great, close to the station, and it's clean with both breakfast and a large public bath. I would definitely like to stay here again on my next business trip."

"A really beautifully hotel that sits on higher ground. It has a great view and peaceful surroundings. On one wing of the hotel is a student hostel on the lower floor but they have a different entrance. Dinner wasn’t great and the main course meat was tough. Could see many tables didnt finish that course. It was probably because of the peak sakura season and they were fully booked for meals. Breakfast was good though. Overall still a great place. The room size was very comfortable and new which made a great difference. They even have a common microwave available."

"Located right next to Kofuku-ji Temple, we were able to keep our car parked there after checking out and spent half a day exploring Nara Park. The location is absolutely superb! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the charming garden setting. We were given a large room, which made for a very comfortable stay."

"The landlady welcomed me very warmly and the food was the best. Thank you for the delicious rice these days. This inn has a history of 100 years It's certainly an old building, but I was deeply moved to think that those who visited temples and shrines for many years 々 have healed their fatigue. Therefore, don't use foreigners who don't know the history of Japan. I think I have to leave such an inn. I was able to participate in the morning work and washed my heart. "When I was looking for accommodation the night before participating in the Nara Ultra Marathon, I found the Tōmine Kanko Hotel, which was close to the meeting point and reasonably priced. Located in the mountains away from the city center, surrounded by trees, it was a very quiet environment. It was a shame that I had to check out in the middle of the night due to the race! The hotel staff were also very kind! I am grateful for their courteous service. I would like to visit again to enjoy Asuka Village at a more leisurely pace."

"The front door was not open even after the check-in time, so I called twice and had the landlady come and finally opened it 10 minutes later. While I was waiting, I was worried that I would not be able to stay that night. It seemed like she was running the place by herself. The reason she was late was that she had gone to the hospital to visit her sister. The shower curtain in the bathroom was moldy, so I didn't feel like using it."

"I felt the kindness of the staff. There was only one foreign guest, and the rest seemed to be Japanese. Dinner was Yoshitsune hotpot. It contained four types of meat and was very filling. Tanzan Shrine If you stay overnight, you can participate in the morning worship at Tanzan Shrine. It is a little far from the station, but there is a free shuttle bus."

"It's located just a few minutes from Sakurai Station in Nara Prefecture, so it's easy to get to. The breakfast is also healthy Japanese food. However, the facility is quite old, and there are many areas in need of repair. It was a cold day, and even when I set the air conditioner to 32 degrees, it took a while for the room to warm up. There was also no washroom in the private room, so I had to go all the way to the shared washroom, which was inconvenient. There was no refrigerator in the private room, and the built-in TV was small and hard to watch. The shared bathroom was small, and I was particularly surprised that the bathtub was a single-person unit bath."
