"When I was looking for accommodation the night before participating in the Nara Ultra Marathon, I found the Tōmine Kanko Hotel, which was close to the meeting point and reasonably priced. Located in the mountains away from the city center, surrounded by trees, it was a very quiet environment. It was a shame that I had to check out in the middle of the night due to the race! The hotel staff were also very kind! I am grateful for their courteous service. I would like to visit again to enjoy Asuka Village at a more leisurely pace."

However, the facility is quite old, and there are many areas in need of repair. It was a cold day, and even when I set the air conditioner to 32 degrees, it took a while for the room to warm up. There was also no washroom in the private room, so I had to go all the way to the shared washroom, which was inconvenient. There was no refrigerator in the private room, and the built-in TV was small and hard to watch. The shared bathroom was small, and I was particularly surprised that the bathtub was a single-person unit bath."
