"Sterling Goa Varca is situated in a beautiful location, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. Manoj, our waiter, was especially wonderful. He took care of all our requests, was very friendly, and we had some lovely conversations with him. He also went out of his way to recommend different places for us to visit around Goa. Chef Vikram was equally kind and thoughtful, preparing our food according to our spice preferences, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had an absolutely lovely stay, and the warm, attentive, and helpful staff made our experience even more special!"

"I was at this resort for almost a full week and it’s been absolutely wonderful! The room was clean and spacious, the large swimming pool is fantastic, the grounds are very well maintained, and everyone in the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Honorable mentions: Bipul in the lobby who gave advice on travel, Arnold who was very always efficient at the reception, Flavian the very gifted bartender who made amazing cocktails, Stephan who was very courteous in the bar, Rajesh who was very attentive as the pool attendant, and Lalit in the breakfast area who was always ahead of my needs. Thanks to you all! I really enjoyed spending time on my private balcony. Another thing I really appreciated is that it is calm and quiet most of the time. In general, there’s no bombastic music around the pool or blasting in public areas… very good! Furthermore, there is direct access to the beach which stretches endlessly for tens of kilometres, amazing! You can have dinner with your feet in the fine sand at sunset at one of the several eateries on the beach… not to be missed! This place sure delivers! "Absolutely horrible and unsafe hotel.They are literally playing with people’s lives. My mother was stuck in the lift for 10–15 minutes — no light, no ventilation, nothing. It could have turned fatal, and the staff showed zero urgency or responsibility. We changed rooms three times because the ACs didn’t work. The last room was next to a generator — the noise was unbearable. No laundry service either. This place is a complete disaster — zero safety, zero maintenance, zero management. Should be shut down until they fix these life-threatening issues."

"I had the most unpleasant stay at this hotel. From the moment I entered the room, a horrible smell filled the air, making it unbearable to stay inside. To make matters worse, I found lizards and cockroaches crawling around, which was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The bedsheets and curtains were stained, and the overall hygiene of the room was pathetic. The bathroom was equally filthy, with water stains and an unpleasant odor. Clearly, housekeeping and maintenance are not a priority for this hotel."

"There are no sun loungers on the beach, and beach towels are not allowed. There's a shack to the left. There are no shops, pharmacies, or currency exchange offices within walking distance. The pool tiles need to be repaired. Very beautiful, green area with wildlife. Delicious coffee for breakfast from a vending machine. There are more staff than guests."
