"We spent last week at this hotel and it was a fabulous experience. The hotel has both a wonderful pool and access directly onto the lake, so we spent more time than we expected to swimming and paddle boarding in the lake. The staff are wonderful and the whole vibe is one of relaxed luxury. The only down side is the menu is a little too stuffy, dinner wise and you are a good 30 mins away from Salo for alternative options. You could walk into beautiful Riva Gardone, but after6 nights we’d exhausted all those restaurants. However I still give this hotel top marks as it was perfect in so many other ways."

"We stayed for eight nights and were delighted by how centrally located this small hotel actually is. The hotel owners, a young couple, are truly charming, very friendly, and helpful. The staff are also very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and the breakfast buffet was well-stocked and filled everyone. While the surrounding area was quite noisy with the window open, it was completely quiet with the window closed. We would book again anytime."

"Direct booking from the site, room not as expected, photo sent does not correspond. Lake view partially covered by wardrobe. Owner very rude and impolite, to my request "it means that he will give me the parking free", response "I AM NOT GIVING YOU ANYTHING FREE". Terrible reception, in front of the entrance in a very uncomfortable and unwelcoming space, 4 stars only on paper. Renovated rooms with 1930s key."
Hotel Eden Salò
"We were driving by car and drove past the hotel twice. Not easy to fund, but we were guided by the helpful staff who even stood outside to welcome us. We paid extra for the on-site secure car park, which was a big bonus. We upgraded to a room with terrace view over the main road and clock tower. Slightly noisy on an evening, but wonderful views of the clock tower and towards the lake. The terrace window is double glazed and shuts out the noise when inside. The staff were very helpful with their introduction and spoke excellent English. Good air conditioning, a vital for the hot summer months. Rooms are a little on the small side and the bathroom (especially the shower) could do with modernising. The breakfast was varied and catered for all needs, but not as good as some of the reviews made out. There are only 32 rooms in the hotel and this is evidenced by the personal touch from the staff, who I could not praise highly enough. The location of the hotel is excellent and you are only a 5 minute walk to the lakeside and all that encompasses, with less than 10 minutes to the dock where the boats pick you up for the delights of the lake. There is a sun terrace on the top floor with sun loungers and tables/chairs that provides excellent views in both daytime and night time. A very definite plus from us and we would highly recommend this family run hotel. The negatives are not significant compared to the positives."

"The gardens and public areas of this hotel are lovely, the staff friendly. However the noise from main road was non stop. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel and had no views except for trees directly in front of balcony (room 104). Supposed to be a superior room but we were disappointed with the size-photos are completely misleading. The balcony (large) needed a parasol and we enquired as we saw one on the balcony of vacant room next door but were told there wasn’t one available. The balcony was very open and popular with local birds using it as a toilet. The furnishings in room were tired and dated looking despite website saying it had undergone major overhaul 4 years ago. The shower cubicle was a joke (we did ask to be moved but to no avail). It was absolutely tiny. No trays for standing your shower stuff in cubicle. So ended up putting them on floor but that resulted in knocking the shower head out of position-the shower itself was like death by a thousand darts-painful. After a day out and about it should have been something to look forward to and it wasn’t. Worst shower we’ve been in. Breakfast was ok though the sweet outweighed the savoury. Hotel a 10 minute walk to promenade. Though a 40minute walk the other way takes you to Salò which is lovely-more choice. No atm near hotel apart from one uphill but several in Salò. Would holiday in area again but would not stay in this hotel. We didn’t realise hotel doesn’t offer snacks or evening meal so despite it tipping it down a couple of days, we still had to venture out to eat."

"Hotel Panoramica is not just an actually beautiful and a bit over medium sized hotel. It is a welcoming, very friendly, well organized and fragrant hotel (with thanks to the two smiling and sweet cleaning-women from Spain). No, I enjoyed experiencing that this sympathetic and beautiful hotel is also a place to completely relax, experience the little adventures (e.g. around the suitably large swimming pool located in the green and flowery garden), and always get friendly, hearty, committed, even humor, and always friendly, hearty, committed, humorous, weel-read, good service, and especially good information about e.g. beautiful and adventurous drives, especially to the beautiful town of Crone, in the valley to the west (via Gargnano), from the two mature, experienced, but still quite presentable, as two equal but different flowers, and humorous brothers/sons, and the tall elegant waiter. While you can occasionally greet the retired parents (of the brothers) who are mostly enjoying their retirement. To that add, the always 3 different and homemade cakes (among egs, cerial and bread) at the breakfast buffet, the fantastic view of Saló, the pleasant walks in Saló's old town, with a good selection of shops. And our two girls that sincerely enjoyed the pool. But especially the warm, kind, and stress-relieving experience it was to have 10 nights at this hotel (and with a fair price). We will be back, have a nice warm summer, our warm greetings, see you next summer, Thomas (DK)."

"One word Amazing!!! This B&B is such an amazing place to stay for following reasons: -The hospitality this B&B gives you is just perfect. Cristiano and his team are so friendly and professional with still a warm heart. -Rooms are flawless: clean, airconditioned, local products to wash and nurture your skin. -Breakfast has everything you want with bunch of local products and every morning freshly baked pies or muffins or biscuits, its always a lovely surprise. -Pool is amazing for your leisure and fun with inbuilt jacuzzi. Water is super clean Cristiano knows how to keep it clean without using a ton of chlorine. Enough space for all the guest to do some sunbathing with nice sun-umbrellas. -Enough parking for all the ppl to park safely and secure. -Cristiano also has local product you can buy and i would strongly advice to at least try them, i'm sure you will buy something. To end this review i can only say it was amazing for me and my family and we will defo come back!! Thank you Cristiano and your team for giving us an amazing holiday we will never forget!! We will be coming back, family of room 4!! Ciao Ciao "
