"We stayed for three years in a row. The hotel has some nice vintage grand hotel atmosphere in the exteriors or the breakfast hal. Two very good restaurants. However, the best part is the service, and we mainly return for the people running the place, especially for Veronica, who is the heart and center of a lovable crew. She's funny, welcoming, has everything under control, and makes you feel at home. Always looking forward to meeting her again (the charm of a grand hotel is to a large part the relationship with the hosts year after year); she's the reason you want to come back again. A negative point is the prices, which are very high for the rooms, especially when you are loyal and book in advance. Waiting until some days before arrival with your booking could save you easily more than half the price which - in my view - is not very smart in building a loyal customer basis. If it wasn't for Veronica and her team's hospitality, we wouldn't come back."
