"Terrible hotel, terrible location in the Ghetto district, reception staff speaks poor English. And the biggest drawback of this hotel is that they provide accommodation on a 140 cm bed for two adults!!! They call it a double bed!!! Our 10-year-old sleeps alone on one at home. Be careful and vigilant! We did not stay at this hotel, we went to another hotel, and the hotel refused to refund our money, which again speaks volumes about its customer-focused nature. I will write a review of this hotel everywhere."

"A good hotel located in the district of San Miguel in a very quiet neighborhood with several squares and parks around it. The staff is friendly and kind. The breakfast they offer could be improved, which is very modest for the hotel. The hotel would try to improve the facilities by installing an elevator, since going down the 4 floors is a bit difficult. The terrace on the fifth floor is very pleasant and offers very good views of the area."

"Martin, the owner/manager, went out of his way to help me. When I couldn’t find the restaurant with vegetarian options, he actually walked me the five blocks to the place himself. He always puts out hot water and a teabag at night, and there’s always a large bottle of drinking water waiting. Because my flight times were super early—well before normal breakfast hours—he made me breakfast sandwiches both times so I could take them with me. He also has a great network of trusted providers, including currency exchange and taxi services. In some other Peruvian cities I stayed in, I was occasionally bothered by barking dogs at night, but this area is surprisingly quiet. There are always extra blankets in case it gets cold, though I’ve never needed them."
