"Pillows were of terrible quality, WiFi was worthless. The lady at the front desk when we checked in didn’t recognize my status with Wyndham. When I asked if I could switch to a two double bed room she wanted to charge additional money, even though it was late and there were plenty of rooms. Oh well, never again."

"Anthony and Jessica were incredibly kind and attentive. They listened carefully and helped fulfill my request to have a bonfire and barbecue, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was newly renovated in July 2025, and everything felt fresh and comfortable. I especially liked the AC above the bed, and the bed itself was very cozy. The restaurant was in construction but there were microwave and coffee machines. The only downsides were that the tap water had a slight sulfur smell and the shower water was a bit cold. However, I would still choose the Overlook Hotel again if I visit the Catskills in the future."
