Das Raya ist ein tolles B&B in Strandnähe in Matapalo. Die Zimmer sind groß und modern ausgestattet mit super bequemen Kingsizebetten, Safe, ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten und einem großen Bad. Vor dem Zimmer gibt es einen Tisch und Stühle, sowie 2 bequeme Hängesessel. Trennwände auf der Terrasse sorgen für ausreichend Privatsphäre. Alles ist super gepflegt und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück bestellt man am Abend vor und es wird dann zur gewünschten Uhrzeit auf der Terrasse serviert. Man hat die Auswahl zwischen selbstgebackenem Brot mit Marmelade, Wurst, Schinken und Käse, sowie Eierspeisen und frisch gebackenen Waffeln. Dazu gibt es einen Obstteller, Kaffee oder Tee und Saft. Man kann auch alles nachbestellen, wenn man mehr möchte. Der kleine Pool lädt zum Abkühlen ein. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und kommunikativ, wir bekamen gute Tipps. Vögel kann man von der Terrasse aus sehen, auch Leguane und Faultiere sind manchmal direkt zu sehen, in unserem Fall haben die Hosts am Strand für und nach Faultieren Ausschau gehalten und uns auch hingeführt. Ein Tipp von uns ist der Eco Chontales Wasserfall in der Nähe, nicht so überlaufen und wunderschön zum Baden.
