Remember to bring insect repellent spray, as there is still a risk of dengue fever if bitten by local black mosquitoes! !
The hotel socket is European standard 220V, but a converter is required!
The tour guide only recommends the Meliá Group because it is the only one managed by foreign investors!
According to local standards in Cuba, the IBEROSTAR hotel is considered the best in VARADERO. The Google rating of 4.7 is also very good, but personal experience: 1️⃣The best is the beach (fine sand, warm and clear sea water) 2️⃣No service provided Tips are also considered appropriate (tips are even better) 3️⃣ Also, the hotel is small and has three floors. The overall environment is quiet and green (so the second picture is a sea view room on the second floor. In fact, there is no sea view unless it is on the third floor)
But none of this can change the problems of hotel towels and bedsheets being worn, cold snack fruits deteriorating, and bedbug bites! If you like Meimeibu Hotel, don’t come here. If you really want to come, I suggest staying for 2/3 nights is enough."

"The hotel is very cost-effective; all meals are included; there are two beaches and two swimming pools; the property is spacious; the building hardware is very good; there are many European, Canadian, and Russian guests; check-in is limited to 4 pm; the bar is open only three days a week and one night, which is a bit of a sparse schedule; the large pool lacks cleaning and water changes; there is a difference in treatment between Canadian and travel agency residents; tipping is key to good service in every aspect; you need to change your money before entering the hotel; the self-service omelette and meat buffet is very slow and you have to wait in line; there was a power outage and the lack of energy storage diesel engine made it difficult to issue room cards; there is only a few Wi-Fi spots, not in the dorms; the cell phone signal in the dorms is poor, so you have to go to a small beach near other hotels; the rooms have large TVs; the mosquitoes are very aggressive, so you need to bring all the pest control spray;"

"Low quality service from reception staff, staff in general always smiling and helpful. Room is ok, shower is ok but quiet. They didn't change the bath towels, towels were stained and of low quality.
The food depends on the day, there are good days and bad days.
Hotel location is very good."
