Fairfield Wakayama Kushimoto sits next to Michi-no-Eki Kushimoto Hashigui-iwa, a roadside station overlooking scenic Hashigui-iwa Rocks. Find beauty and serenity as you stroll through this natural rock formation, two qualities we embody at our simple yet smart business hotel. Visit the town of Kushimoto and take in views of the Pacific Ocean from the southernmost point of Honshū, Japan's largest island. Located in Wakayama prefecture, Kushimoto offers a wide range of activities, from swimming and scuba diving to hiking on the ancient trails of Kumano Kodo, one of Japans many World Heritage sites. Sample the region's abundant seafood, courtesy of the Kuroshio Current. Local delicacies include Kenken Katsuo bonito, Japanese spiny lobster and Pacific bluefin tuna. Expect a comfortable and convenient stay at our hotel in the Kansai region. We offer guests meticulous service, many free amenities and rooms with ocean views. Stay focused in Japan at Fairfield Wakayama Kushimoto.

"The hotel is conveniently located right behind the Hashiguiiwa Rocks. Upon entering, the vibe, scent, and lighting create a welcoming atmosphere, complemented by friendly staff. The design is minimal yet cozy, with a keen attention to detail; every spot is perfect for photography with great lighting. There's also a snack bar offering unlimited coffee and tea during your stay—definitely a highlight, as their coffee is excellent. The common area is situated in a spacious and comfortable lobby. If you have some time, be sure to grab a coffee from the snack bar and relax in the lobby; it's definitely a great place to recharge. Our room matched the photos perfectly, featuring a Scandinavian design that felt very cozy. The space was ample for two people with two large pieces of luggage. The bed was incredibly comfortable, contributing to a quiet overall environment that allowed us to enjoy a great night's sleep. We opted for a room with a sea view, and the scenery was breathtaking as soon as we entered. Kushimoto is known as one of the top 100 sunrise spots, but unfortunately, the morning was shrouded in heavy clouds, preventing us from witnessing the sunrise."

Enjoy fresh tuna caught at Katsuura Port! A hot spring inn with a spectacular ocean view

"This hot spring hotel is quite popular, with many guests, mostly locals. The density of hot spring pools is a bit high. There's a tuna dissection demonstration at 5:30 PM for dinner, which is worth seeing. You can book a package that includes one night's stay and two meals. The food quality is excellent, but drinks are not included and need to be purchased separately. You can also choose an all-you-can-eat option."
