Scenic Hotels in Hoofddorp

"Facilities: Although the room isn't huge, it's fully equipped. I was most pleased to find a kettle and a capsule coffee machine, which are rare in European hotels. Service: The hotel's airport shuttle service is very convenient. You can book it through the front desk and pay 5 euros directly, no tipping required. Breakfast: The variety is excellent, especially the yogurt and fruit section. Environment: The room was very quiet, and despite being close to the airport, I had a great night's sleep."

"We decided to book this hotel as we had a long flight from Shanghai before a connecting flight to Ireland that would have arrived very late. It was a good choice. The hotel is perfect for this scenario: the rooms are nice, comfortable beds, nice shower etc and very restful-nicely lit. and surprisingly not very noisy despite being only a few kms from Schiphol. The staff had also prepared the sofa bed for us on arrival, which was a nice touch-one of us probably woudl have just slept on the sofa as a sofa otherwise. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was excellent. The only slight gripe would be the hallway looked liek it could have doen with a bit of hoovering, but honestly that was not really a big deal. There is also a nice bar in th elobby area plus a restaurant-we didnt; try the evenign meals on offer but as noted above the breakfast was excellent so I would imagine dinner woudl be ok too. There is a gym but we didn't try that so no idea if it's any good. The hotel was completed in I think 2014 or 2016 and it feels very modern and new. One other thing I thought was a bit off-you have to pay 8.50 per-person for the airport shuttle that takes you from the hotel to the airport (it's free from the airport to the hotel) This seems a bit petty to be honest. A taxi costs about 11 euro for the same journey so effectively the shuttle is almost the same price and if you are a group of two or more, the shuttle makes no sense. I would suggest the hotel considers either offering the service for free (they can just add a small amount to the already not expensive room rate) or just not have a service at all and everyone can take a taxi. Location wise, the hotel woudl have to be inside the terminal to be any closer to Schiphol-for this price you wonn't find anywhere better located. Overall an excellent hotel and I will most likely stay there again on the return from my next visit to China."

"Near the Schiphol airport. Just 1 train stop away. Staff are kind and efficient. We were able to check in early for only 10 euros. Breakfast is delicious. The room is big enough with a kettle, cups, glasses, coffee, and tea. There's an iron, an ironing board, and a hair dryer. You can also leave your suitcases safely. Parking is free too. We had great stays and will for sure stay again in the future. Thank you."

It feels very ”family-friendly” and is surrounded by nature, making it a peaceful retreat. However, keep in mind its location if you plan on visiting the city center frequently. Location & Transport 🚌 Proximity: Conveniently located about 10 minutes from the airport. Shuttle: The hotel provides a scheduled shuttle bus to and from the airport with frequent departures. City Access: There is no direct transport to the city center. To get downtown, you must take the shuttle back to the airport and transfer to a train/bus, call a taxi, or take a local bus to a transit point. It can feel a bit isolated if you don't have a car. Parking 🚗 There is ample parking space available, but please note that it costs approximately €20 per day. Room Quality 🛌 The Good: The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, the room quality is very satisfying. The Amenities: A bit minimal. They provide the basics (soap, shampoo, and lotion), but no shower caps or other extra vanity kits. You might want to bring your own. Service & Facilities 🍳 Staff: The front desk team is professional and helpful. Breakfast: A highlight! The breakfast spread is good, and the staff are very attentive—constantly clearing plates and keeping the tables clean. "Just arrived Schiphol and decide to stay a night before going home. Very convenient from Hoofddorp train station. Around 5 mins walk. Check in experience is a little waiting since only one person working. Check out is super smooth. Thank you all the staff working for us! The room is perfectly good."

"Nice hotel with an amazing breakfast. Unfortunately, the wellness area was dirty and unsupervised. Other guests were playing loud music in the sauna and pool area, and people were even taking photos in the sauna! The large sauna was also out of order. Wellness simply can't happen here! We stayed for 2 nights. Despite the sign on the door, our room was not cleaned! A definite no-go for this price range!"
