"The property is well located if you have your own transportation options, as it's in a small village on the tip of a peninsula. From there, the area's main archaeological sites are relatively easy to reach (Pergamon is about 200 km away, and Ephesus is 80 km). These small, independent buildings are very quiet, a little dated, but still in good condition. Breakfast is Turkish, mostly savory, and served at your table. Any extras (e.g., coffee, as they only serve tea) are subject to charges. The services are good, as you can use the adjacent Atlantis resort (same ownership) for a much better breakfast buffet and access to the pools (for those who use them) and, most importantly, the sea. The platforms are equipped with loungers and umbrellas, and have ladders to enter the water (the Aegean water is cold). The platforms are located in two inlets, partially sheltered from the wind, which often blows at 30-40 km/h. There's also a sandy beach (Akkum), but it's dark sand and very dirty with cigarette butts. There's also a decent restaurant (Maya Restaurant) with a very helpful waiter who, fortunately, speaks English (other than the restaurant, many of the hotel staff only speak Turkish). In conclusion, if I were to return, I'd go to the Atlantis Resort, where for about the same amount of money you get better service and it also seems cleaner. The cleanliness is very poor: in 5 nights, they never changed the sheets and only cleaned the bathroom once (I think it had to do with the change of staff, because on the first day there was a woman who cleaned, and after that there was a young man who simply made the bed and took away the dirty towels; I told him that the coffee cups were dirty from the day before and only then did he replace them with clean ones). There was a lot of dust under the bed. The shower is open, so you have to do acrobatics to avoid flooding the bathroom floor, which is small. Finally, both on their website and on various online booking sites it says that they have a laundry service, but this is not true."
