"Great location and excellent dining, but facilities need an update We had a pleasant stay overall. The location is very good and conveniently located near many local attractions, making sightseeing incredibly easy. In terms of service, the front counter staff were okay, but the restaurant service was absolutely superb—the dining staff really stood out and made our meals memorable. As for the room and property, the cleanliness was quite good. However, the facilities are feeling a bit old. This is especially true for the swimming pool area, which looks a bit creepy if you go down there at night. If you're looking for a prime location and great food, it's a solid choice, but don't expect brand-new amenities."

"The best part of this hotel is their onsen! Good size with a nice bathing pool outside along with the usual inside. Hotel is located on a hill so easiest to get to with a car and they have a big parking lot. Great place to stay when visiting Utoro. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was ridiculously small. Breakfast felt cafeteria style but lots of Japanese options."

"The hotel is located a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Although it’s a hostel, the room is spacious and includes a safe and a refrigerator. The bedding is clean. There’s no shower in the room, as this is an onsen-style hotel. There’s no kettle in the room either — a shared one is available on the first floor in a small kitchen equipped with a stove and a microwave. The only downside is the absence of a water cooler or filter for drinking water. You have to buy bottled water from a vending machine and pour it into the shared kettle. The view from the window is stunning. The air conditioner is AI-powered — it even talks 😁"

"The entire facility blended seamlessly with nature, and everything from the handcrafted villas and well-maintained lawns to the gentle murmur of the river was superb. The children were constantly smiling, enjoying activities they couldn't experience in the city, such as playing frisbee and stargazing where they even saw shooting stars. The barbecue for dinner was excellent, and at breakfast, we had the wonderful experience of watching squirrels eating walnuts right next to us. We are so grateful to the owners and staff for their hospitality. We would love to return again for another relaxing getaway."
