"Although the hotel is a bit dated, the views are absolutely stunning, and the breakfast was delicious. I had originally booked for two nights, but due to a heavy snowstorm in Sapporo, I couldn't make it. After contacting the hotel through Trip.com, they were very kind and allowed me to cancel one night, which saved me from a loss. Excellent service!"

There are two relatively large convenience stores nearby."

"Our room was new and nice. Has a bit vintage vibe in the interior design. Breakfast has everything you need and is tasty. The customer service and onsen are great. Everything went very smoothly. I wish they had a currency exchange automat (like Smart exchange) as no cash currency exchange options in any city nearby (banks do not do it at all). Hotel is of a good level to provide this service. Why this is needed - we thought payment will be processed online through Trip.com but they requested to pay in cash AFTER checkout. Normally this is at least mentioned when checking in. Also they changed the onsen fee recently and when we booked it was of lower price. We literally had to give out all cash we had. Overall we liked our stay, but the payment issue left some bad impression about the hotel."

"This Chinese New Year, I embarked on a solo trip to Shiretoko Peninsula, dubbed Japan's last unexplored region. The room was spotless, the views were absolutely incredible, and the food was among the best I've had on my many trips to Japan. The price was also a steal – three nights with breakfast and dinner included, right during peak CNY, for under 2000 [currency unspecified, likely RMB]. You'd be lucky to find a rundown hostel for that price in Europe! The only minor downside was that the onsen view was just okay, but at this price, who's complaining? I'd love to bring my parents here someday. Keep up the excellent quality!"

"This was the only hotel we stayed at for two consecutive nights during our entire trip to eastern Dok. It was much better than I expected; the room was very spacious, and the view from the balcony was quite nice. The hotel's onsen (hot spring) was a pleasant surprise, as I hadn't had high expectations for it, but it turned out to be a lovely open-air bath. When we checked out, the snow was very deep due to heavy snowfall, and the staff even helped us get to the station. I was very happy."

"I chose this hotel because the hot spring looked good. There are many people participating in Shiretoko activities, so there is a lot of noise in the evenings and mornings, but it quiets down early at night and is very quiet. The facilities were sufficient. It was clear that the old facilities had been properly renovated and designed. There were no restaurants nearby, so on the second night of our stay we asked for dinner at the last minute, but the seasoning was exquisite and very delicious. The hot spring had a salty spring quality and was excellent. I wonder if it was because of the hot spring that I didn't get any muscle pain even though I walked around Shiretoko. I really liked it. I would like to experience Shiretoko in the summer, so I will visit soon. I hope they will join the travel destination tax payment program."
