The window was on the right side behind the bed, a tiny 1 square meter, almost like a prison room. 3. The toilet had no door, just a curtain. You read that right, a curtain. 4. When flushing the toilet, water sprayed out. 500 yuan for a hotel, and this is it???"

Since I had my child with me, I took photos to document the situation to avoid suspicion of inappropriate behavior. At the time, I didn't connect these obvious stains with the hotel's hygiene. Now I regret it deeply... If I had considered that, my child wouldn't have to endure the pain that followed... I checked in that day and completed my trip. The main purpose was to try the local Shengzhou cuisine. I spent the entire day eating and going to eat. By the way, the samosas, tofu buns, and lamb bones were both delicious... The next morning, just after waking up at nine, I noticed a couple of red bumps on my daughter's arms, outside her short-sleeved shirt. They were a bit itchy. Thinking they were mosquito bites, I ignored them, applied some anti-itch medicine, and had breakfast at the hotel. We left the hotel around ten and drove over an hour to the Former Residence of Lu Xun (P.S. The hotel's breakfast selection was very limited, not as good as a typical budget hotel). The weather was incredibly hot that day. We arrived at the Xianheng Hotel around two o'clock to have lunch and cool off before continuing. My child complained about an itchy waist and asked for help scratching it. When I lifted her clothes, my god, there were large, bright red bumps all over her body. When I lifted her trouser legs, her calves were covered in them, and her arms and forearms were also covered in spots. I'm still breathless as I write this. I skipped lunch and searched for the nearest hospital nearby. I went to Shaoxing Second Hospital. The doctor immediately suggested that I might have changed my mat recently, suggesting it was likely an allergy to mites. After a blood test, I received an intramuscular injection of dexamethasone and oral loratadine, and was prescribed an anti-itch ointment. The total cost was fifty or sixty yuan. It was already past four o'clock. At this point, I had no choice but to cancel all further plans and drive back to the hotel to check out and negotiate. We arrived around five o'clock... Despite the desire to keep things quiet, we requested a one-night stay, pay the fifty-odd yuan medical bill, and receive a refund for the previous night's room. After over an hour of conversation with the hotel manager, Mr. Wang, who displayed his Shaoxing-style smooth-talking, evasive, and ineffective approach, he only agreed to refund the remaining night's stay. He said this was already a great favor to us, as otherwise, he would have charged half a day's room, the medical bill, and the previous night's room. He refused outright. During the communication, this person kept emphasizing that we had already left the hotel and it was hard to say where the bite happened [angry R][angry R][angry R]. However, in fact, both the doctors and nurses at the hospital believed that it was caused by the sleeping bedding. We checked Ctrip reviews and found that multiple reviews said that people had red spots after staying at the Wenfeng Ramada Hotel, proving that this hotel is a repeat offender... This situation is not just in one or two rooms. The hygiene conditions are worrying. If you stay at this hotel, you can only hope for the best and hope that your immune system is strong enough."
