The Hillbrook Hotel & Spa - Sherborne

"Mostly very good, check in easy, breakfast staff were attentive and food delicious. Room was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Our only gripe, we felt a little disappointed in the standard of daily housekeeping. Our bed wasn't made one evening, after we had returned after our day out, and another, dirty cups were left in our bathroom sink. However, we would stay there again due to its proximity to visiting family nearby."

"Multiple stays, very good. Very convenient, right in the town center. Shopping and dining are within walking distance. Across from the church. You can hear the bells ringing, as if you've stepped back into the Middle Ages. A very pleasant multiple stays."

"We had a very pleasant experience staying here. The room was large and lovely with quality bedding and great shower and bathroom. Rupert makes a great host and provided and delicious breakfast (which included a dairy free option). Easy drive into Sherbourne"

"This hotel is a beautiful hidden gem! My sister and I came here for the night with our children and the staff were all so lovely, welcoming, genuine and catered to our needs. Nothing was too much trouble and they were extremely friendly. The hotel itself is just lovely, from the location of it, to the garden and the quirky decor inside, the structure and design is so beautifully thought out. We couldn't fault this hotel or the staff, thank you so much for a very pleasurable and memorable stay. We do hope to visit again someday!"

"We booked at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is well run, the rooms were a very good standard, lovely towels and amenities. We had a really nice meal in the restaurant garden, breakfast was great too. The little village is a good stop off location, and lots of walks in the area and places to visit nearby."

"Iv stopped here a few times now and it's a lovely little quiet pub. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The owner Steve is a great host. The room are very clean and comfortable. The pub offers fantastic food, all homemade and the breakfast is one of the best iv had in any hotel. If your looking for a nice quiet place to stop for a few night in Dorset you must stay here."
