"Mostly very good, check in easy, breakfast staff were attentive and food delicious. Room was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Our only gripe, we felt a little disappointed in the standard of daily housekeeping. Our bed wasn't made one evening, after we had returned after our day out, and another, dirty cups were left in our bathroom sink. However, we would stay there again due to its proximity to visiting family nearby."

"Having visited the Mitre prior to the creation of the cadence I was extremely impressed with how nice it was to sit up on the bank, surrounded by well thought out planting and tables, overlooking the local area. Only negative was the piped music, which was a bit of an unwelcome intrusion into the peace of the English countryside."
