"When we arrived at the hotel, the staff was very considerate and served us warm green tea and dessert. We had dinner in another room, which was very quiet and comfortable, with many choices and delicious food. There was also iced green tea outside the hot spring room, which was very thoughtful. When we left, the staff gave us an origami, which was very cute."

"the food is most generous and sumptous, and very high standard. We stayed in couple room with a private onsen tub. This make our stay most memorable as my wife was recovering from a major surgery. When we request the staff to add another layer to the futon mattress, he told us to do it on our own since the futon are in the room. When we told him that my wife is unable to do so due to the surgey, he oblidge to our request but unhappily. Apart from this unpleasant encounter, we decided to return again to this place."

"All the staff were incredibly helpful. I was able to relax during my stay. The large hot spring bath was not particularly spacious, but the water was excellent. There was a heavy snowfall the night I stayed, but I was impressed by the staff who had been clearing the snow from cars in the parking lot since the morning."

"The station is a 15-minute walk. You can call a taxi if necessary.  The rooms are a bit old and should have been last renovated at least 20 years ago.  Unbeatable sea view. The quality of the meals is very good. The group itself is a fishing company, and there are several other inns nearby that it owns. The hot springs are not big, but they are really natural hot springs.  The biggest drawback is that there is no choice of meals when booking a room with Travel Service."

"The design of this hotel is very suitable for family trips (but I didn’t bring Baozi this time). It has a children’s playroom, complete baby supplies, and even a baby bed in the private bath. The outdoor garden hot spring is a must-see. It is a very unique experience to soak in the hot spring while looking at the snow scenery. Yumura Onsen is one of Japan's top high-temperature hot springs. The source of the hot spring, Arayu, gushes out 470 liters of water per minute, and the temperature is as high as 98 degrees! ! Many people boil eggs and vegetables in the soup. There are also free foot baths in the town, which is a unique experience only available here! I highly recommend this place to everyone who is tired of Tokyo and Osaka and heading to a second- or third-tier hot spring town. "

"The dinner buffet exceeded our expectations. In particular, the bamboo steamer was delicious with a wide variety of dishes, including turban shells, pork, and vegetables. However, the venue was small, the tables were close to each other, and there were three shifts during dinner time, so it was disappointing that we couldn't enjoy our meal at our leisure. To get to the open-air bath, you have to climb a long staircase, but it's in the middle of the forest and has a sense of openness, so it's worth the effort. The large public bath was also great. We stayed in a spacious two-room Japanese-style room for four people, so we were able to relax and enjoy our time."
