"This resort is very basic, it is totally set up for local Japanese, breakfast is supplied but there is virtually no western food available and no one speaks English. I left coins on my bedside table, I noted there was 3 x 100yen coins which I planned to use to do the washing machine which only takes 100 yen coins. When I returned after skiing the cleaners had taken the 3 x 100 yen coins. Cleaner theft is very disappointing as they are in every room unsupervised. Management didn’t seem that interested when I tried to report it. This place is the equivalent of a 3 star country hotel in Australia. The staff that looked after skis in locker room were lovely and friendly."

"The staff were all very warm and welcoming, and this inn not only provided relaxation in the midst of nature, but also spiritual healing. ♪ The meals were filled with carefully selected dishes by Head Chef Sato, and included dishes like simmered young bamboo shoots in fragrant dashi stock and Ezo venison Jingisukan, making for an incredibly delicious meal. The baths were also fantastic! Both the indoor and outdoor baths offered a wonderful experience, allowing you to soak while feeling the power of nature. Next time, I'd like to stay here again and aim to climb Mount Tomuraushi, which I've always dreamed of."

"The room was spacious and very clean and we stayed for 2 days. There was a play place for children. A big comfortable to relax after insen. I had good view of lake and mountain from our room. onsen was very good. Very pleasant place to stay to relax. Not much activities nearby like to walk round or view. Quite unfortunate the restaurant was closed and we didn't get to try their food."

"This hotel is not big, only a few rooms. As soon as I entered, I felt very neat and clean. The price has included breakfast and dinner. The quality of the meal exceeded expectations, very rich and very delicious. The room is not small. Basically make you live very comfortable. There are hot springs, separated from men and women. The hot spring is not big, because there are not many rooms and guests. Basically enough. very satisfied."
